Had HSBC? I'd rate Lloyds higher than HSBC in my personal experience, especially if you ever need to call them. UK Based, open 24/7, never had to wait more than two mins, and they deliver what I can only describe as "a thousand smile service". And they actually give you proper answers to questions, not robotic scripted (incorrect) garbage.

Thanks hun.
Am currently consoling myself with Pringles.
Cif are you a woman? I always thought you were male :rotfl: :rotfl:
By the way, coventry score harshly - if you already have internet online banking access then take a look online as the First account shows there - but put it this way, they advertise the fact they reject 80 out of every 100 customers..
It is part of their sales pitch, 'we're TLC not a PLC' or similar - meaning they protect their own assets and have the second harshest scoring model after 1st Direct.
I got Coventry but not 1st!
Good Luck - hope you get it....2010 - year of the troll

never-in-doubt wrote: »Mate don't worry about how they report payments - lenders couldn't give a hoot if you pay the balance in full or the minimum - it is simply a tool to allow them to gauge who 'may be' in financial hardship / likely to default etc. Your agreement clearly states the amount you should repay as does the monthly statement and so long as you pay that minimum amount you are a good customer.
Paying in full does not, contrary to some bull being told on here, help or hinder a person in any way whatsoever!
Just make the min payment, all will be well. If you think it matters that much then tell me why Miles has just been accepted for 2 cards yet he has no history other than a dormant Barclaycard?
Think that says it all really - the CAIS/INSIGHT data is used ONLY for assessing additional borrowing and/or managment of credit. It is NOT & never will be used in any scoring models for new application of credit!
Regards to the England thing Weds - I hope you get gubbed LOL :rotfl: :rotfl:
Haha, England are awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Not sure where I'm watching that, thinking the pub we're meeting in anyway (but going early) or thinking mine on HD TV and having proper pre-drinks here (which means we'll be wasted......)

Good bank
You should work for them in advertising. That recommendation has even convinced me to switch (after 6 months when the majority of my searches have dropped off). :jWe’ve had to remove your signature. Mate get real....
Lloyds aint a patch on HSBC - the only reason I never replied is cos he made it clear it is an opinion and not fact!
Fact - HSBC beat Lloyds in every department from customer service to customer base to range and value of products to now being state owned to also having UK call centres to also offering behavioural scoring to also being better in that your debit card aint restricted to their own machines
In fact mate, I could go on for a week - but I think the point here is it is an opinion, the facts clearly prove that HSBC blow Lloyds outta the water and some more :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll
