    Niddy - well, if I'm able to make a side by side comparison I will, HSBC are widely considered "the ones to be with", maybe I'll get to see why...

    cifpower - any idea whether you've been approved / declined? Called them?

    No idea. Haven't called them as I prefer to wait for a letter.

    OMG! Start limit on my Barclaycard initial is £2000!!!!
    Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500
    Credit Cards - Barclaycard £2000 - Silver Card £1300 - Flybe £7500 - HSBC £1000 - First Direct £2500 First Direct Gold £3000
    6 credit accounts closed in 2010!

    NID - Didnt you say Lloyds also do internal behaviour score assessment when applying for products?

    and what was that comment about only being able to use their cards at their machines?

    Lloyds offer pre-approvals & on their basic account you can only withdraw at their cash machines

    Ahhh, I dont have a basic account so thats good...they offer pre approvals, but does that mean no external creit check when applying? :D
