First Direct searched me yesterday. I didn't think they would search people on Sundays. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

As they are a 24/7 business I would have been surprised if they didn't search people at the weekends0

Haven't had time to call them yet, just back from a driving lesson and I'm off out again in a few minutes.
Should have time this evening. :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I have no adverse. The marker was likely placed there as I've had an account with Lloyds since I was 15 and the marker had never been removed even though the account had been closed and a new one opened.
Wow that's pretty poor. Did you ever ask them about it?
I find it hard to believe that a bank doesn't notice when you turn 18!
Within a week of my 18th birthday HSBC had replaced my Solo with Switch maestro CG, sent out a chequebook, and given me a £150 overdraft...
Did you ever incur charges on the account or the like? Or ask Lloyds TSB to look into why the marker is there?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I did ask but they didn't know and I couldn't be bothered taking it further.0
