Yea. I don't think HSBC, Barclays or A&L use Equifax for current account.

Barclays and HSBC both use Equifax mate - well they did with me (as well as the standard Experian search)!

As for A&L they used to search Experian, is this the same now they are Santander? I dunno mate!

Bear in mind HSBC and Barclays both use CallCredit as well now. :D

Also Vanquis use Experian so you'd only be able to apply for Sygma branded stuff or the like, assuming you want a Equifax search mate?

Application Verification Unit - they overrule whatever automated decisions have been made. So like me, I apply and get accepted every time (for RBS branded products) but when I send the agreement back AVU overturn the accept and decline me.

They are like St Peter waiting at the gates ready to reject the bad ones! :rotfl:
    :rotfl: Haha!!!

Ooooh I just remembered, I'm due a reply from MBNA soon! I'm fairly certain that I'm right in saying "Sygma Bank UK" are different from MBNA aren't they? I have an appeal saved on here RE: the JJB card, it's saved as "MBNA Appeal Dec 2009", but it clearly isn't, so I don't know what I've appealed for! If I really did send that to MBNA then they've obviously tracked down my last app (hopefully England card!) and are looking into getting me that, I really don't know! Hopefully I get a nice shiny credit card put in my postbox next week!

Oh and who was it who told me to work instead of go out one time?:p Had an exam the other day and the email came through saying our results are online..... logged in and hunted them down (that takes forever!), need 40% to pass, anyone want to guess what I got? :rotfl:
