    the classic credit card

When I went to activate the card last Friday they told me my APR was 34.9% for both purchases and cash withdrawals. Is there anywhere to double check this?

For example on the leaflet which the card was attached to?

Just wondered when I tried to use my card this morning... my card expires in Nov 2011, so do they have to give me a new identical card or will they use that as a time to review my account and decide whether to upgrade me or not? (or decide not to give me a new card)... I just wondered because 10/09 to 11/11 isn't a long period and it isn't a set period either (say 1 year, 2 years or 3 years) so was wondering why it was 2 years and a month?

I spent about £40 on it today so at least there is some activity for them this month! (And I get some free alcohol until March or whenever it is they want paying!)

I think they were concerned that the popularity of the HD2 would have an effect on their IPHONE sales.

Vodafone say it is because they can't get enough stock. HTC apparently can't keep up with demand but rumours are flying round that they've stopped selling because all of the problems people are having with it. But they still sell it on business plans.

There was a bad batch or something sent out to a crap load of people.. which left them with endless problems and bugs.

Yep mine is too. Well 34.94%. Why is it the .94, do they have to follow traditional rules of rounding (i.e. 34.95 would have to be advertised as 35?), if not I'm shocked they don't try and rob people of that extra 0.05% and make it 34.99%!!

Yea, the "Here's your new Capital One credit card" one that I was thinking of framing because I nearly collapsed when I saw it :rotfl:

With the gigantic :p credit limit and account number on and instructions on how to activate it

With Natwest it's on the back of each statement, but I've got all my Cap1 statements and it's not on them, only when you first get the card

£100 is better than nothing. :rotfl: There are people in the world who can't even get a catalogue account, poor things.
