I also made a schoolboy, my JD Williams account minimum payment was due on the 2nd, I didnt realise (it is normally the 4th), anyway I went to pay it last night and it was due, so I paid it but obviously it was late, will they report this even though it was 2 days late? I really hope not as it was just a genuine mistake :-(

Ive explained before - they do not charge you. Basically you will get a reminder in your next statement saying pay this PLUS the o/s amount from last time. They then say if you don't pay a late payment charge will be added.

JD are one of the best for not charging you willy-nilly. :D

Just made my first credit applications in donkeys years (except for my mobile hone contract that was renewed last week with o2).

I have applied for Capital One Progress and Vanquis. Neither gave an immediate decision.

I have banked with Cap1 before and had a credit limit of £5k with them about 4 years ago.

Somehow methinks that will not happen this time round.

    Fingers crossed.

They report to Experian too. Both my crappy one credit cards are listed on there. :(

Why are people quick to state who they report to? This means little, lol. Its who they search that matters surely?

Once you get the account then who cares where they report, to be fair from April all lenders will report to all cra's so that info will soon be defunct lol.

Does that mean existing accounts will show up with them too, or only new ones?

Searches will still only be recorded with one CRA though? So if I apply for something that's just Equifax and something else that's just Experian they won't know about each other, but they'll see the same information about my existing accounts?
