There are reports of poor sound when used with an iphone, the newer version (IIIp) model apparently fixes these problems.

oh fab thank you ...just ordered will this work with the new ipod nano 8gb selling at moment for around £115 ( not sure what number/ generation they are ?
are these the same model etc that pixmania have for over £80 and currys for £70 ?????? If so wow !!!!!!!! what a bargain....

Just to let you know Currys price match team told me that it's a different model so wouldn;t do it.

Apparently the one at tesco doesn;t charge and doesn;t take the iphone ?

Looking on the JBL site there are various versions of the OnStage3 so they may have a point.

They have the same model name. Can anyone confirm if this is true or just Currys excuse to get out of price matching?
