All working now.
But noticed half of page for my listing was missing (some text missing). When i went into revise item it wasnt there either. So i had to go into my templates and had to copy and paste into current listing by revising item.
So check your items out0 -
I can't upload photo's when I set up an auction. It says the photo's are pending and just stays that way.
At first I could set up the auction and then revise it to add the photo's but now it won't work at all.
I've tried everything including trying it with both uploaders, different browsers, clearing cookies, temp files etc.
Even the members on the community forum have no answer.
Anyone else have this problem?0 -

Did you click on the upload button on the bottom. Once you browse and add it stays as pending until you click upload. Just tried and no problems0 -
DaveAshton,
Thanks for the pointer to the relevant part of eBay's Terms & Conditions.
Nevertheless, to put it generally, it doesn't mean that eBay can render itself entirely immune to British law by putting whatever it likes into its T&Cs. If you stick a notice in your car stating that you will not be responsible to passengers in it if you act negligently and then drive into the back of a truck and cripple somebody you can't just shrug it off, and the courts won't let you.
Where I think eBay will be on the trickiest ground, legally, is if it now tries to enforce its fees on Reserve Price items when it failed to operate its site with sufficient care, attention, competence and diligence to enable those relevant Reserve Prices to be reached.
Still, we shall see. A very great number of highly aggrieved people will not be prepared simply to swallow their loss (in many cases, a large one) and just let this one go without a fight.
Nor, frankly, should they.
cyberbob,
Your point was you accussed Soolin of being Irresponsible because she didn't keep you updated. I don't really think thats very valid just plain silly really. Should I keep you updated of all my problems with ebay as well. I can give you hourly updates if you want.
Thank you, but no. If you're as dumb as you come across and as illiterate as you clearly are, I would prefer to manage somehow to get through life without availing myself your most generous offer.
soolin, doubtless with the kindest and most helpful of motives, advised everybody that she was having no problems on eBay using Virgin as her ISP and Firefox as her browser. Which deed was fine, commendable and extremely thoughtful.
If, however, when she discovered, immediately after posting that information, she had re-posted that this situation was no longer so, it would have spared me – and, more importantly, several thousand others – from digging out a USB modem, logging in to Virgin by dial-up at 56K and trying in vain to use eBay through Firefox.
Her not doing so until the following morning put a lot of people to unnecessary, frustrating and and time-consuming inconvenience.
What people forget is the unseen action they initiate for many thousands of others when they post something on here.
I meant no offence to soolin but I did think it might bring home to her what she had done and make her act more with more awareness of the consequences next time. To the benefit of everybody on here.

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I am not tied to MSE and as I was also struggling with MSE as could be seen from some of the other boards I rightly gave up and closed down the PC for the night as soon as I realised ebay had crashed for me as well.

What I was pointing out was that, particularly in a sub-forum for which you are a board guide, to close down your PC for the night as soon as you realised eBay had crashed for you, too, was not, in view of your posting, the "right" thing to do – it was the wrong thing to do.
Your posting was bound to induce others to try the same solution and once you became aware, almost immediately, that it didn't work, your decision to switch off your computer, instead of telling everybody else not to waste their time, was inconsiderate.
The fact that it does not cross your mind, even now, to apologise to everyone whom you inconvenienced by that lack of consideration but instead try to dismiss the issue with a conceited jibe about your "browsing habits" illustrates your total indifference to the problems you cause other people.
If you want (which I doubt) to know how to run a board properly and considerately you should ask :A Fran and Godders :A for some pointers.

I'm not sure I should comment at all!
However, I am struggling with MSE and can't post on some boards and ebay is certainly getting a bit slow but is still usable.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
