Just another thing , I found that any items I was watching, I could access them via my ebay so in hindsight it's a shame I wasn't watching loads of things that were ending tonight.
  • not searching properly won't give me ending soonest - just buy it nows instead
  • Latest ebay announcement tells you to use their advanced search at the top of the page but it still only shows up BINs??? Silly announcement really.

Due to errors in some of our backend systems, members may be seeing different errors in Search. This could be that "We were unable to run the search results you entered. Please try again in a few minutes" or a blank page, or simply the browser being unable to display the page. This is also affecting the ability to access eBay Stores through search directly, and sometimes from the store URL.

Workarounds - Buy It Now Search and Advanced Search

If you use the Advanced Search option at the top of the page, and type in your search query and click the title and description box and then run the search, the results for the title and description search will be returned.

Alternatively, if you receive a 0 results page for title search and click the Buy It Now tab (or choose the title and description box and re-run the search), you'll see the (Buy It Now or title and description) results for your search query.

Please note that we are working as quickly as possible to get this resolved. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to resolve this.

So... I guess we wait

The workaround is working for me, i'm not typing in keywords just searching a category, and ticking the title and desc box and it's showing all listings.

phew thought it was just me. Was going crazy last few hours thinking what had happened.

Have an item listed. It appears in My Ebay in selling section but when i try and search the item it isnt showing.

Anyone else with this problem? Its a buy it now item.

Weekend is a good period to sell so lost an evening of viewing. Very unhappy

Someone on the PS forums said that ebay HQ is flooded, so that's a possible cause for the disruption.

Whether they mean flooded with water, or just flooded with free-listed tat from last weekend I don't know...
