mushypeas its so easy to go down the road of pleasing someone all the time i did that with dh, when he had to give up work with back problems i coped with everything to the extent that i got exhausted and dr said i had to learn to say no if not i would burn myself out and be no use to anyone, if i needed support from dh i never got it, so always make time for yourselves too

Good evening my lovely new friends!!

Had SUCH a bad day....the offer we put in on the house wasn't accepted. They will only take the asking price and I don't want to pay it. So guess what I'm doing this weekend....finding more houses. It feels like a never ending chore and I can't wait for it to be over.

Welcome to Phatmouse and Cantcope!!! Everyone is so lovely on here!

CG - I hope things get better with your OH. Things are bound to get better soon. Am thinking of you lots and wishing you the best.

UrbS - we are all keeping our fingers crossed for you. At least you've got the weekend now!

UKBadger - :T for being brave with the meet up. I'm so pleased it all went well!

And of course Wannabe - loving you for starting this up :kisses3: Big kiss from me!!!

By the way, who has the horse?? I can't remember.....had such a bad experience with one recently. He decided it would be amusing to crush my foot and break 2 bones:shocked: And if that wasn't bad enough, it happened on my honeymoon!!!!!!!! Haven't been brave enough to get near one again.

Thinking of you all. Send me positive thoughts this weekend for the house hunt. xxxxxxxxx
May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotch of the person who screws up your day and may their arms be too short to scratch...:D

I don't know, I go away for a day or so and I have pages and pages to read.....

The worst of it is that I read it all and then forget who said what and where....really not good with the whole retention thing when reading and or listening. Need to take notes.

So I have an Asperger's DS, who was unfortunate unenough to be born to an obviously aspergers dad (my ex) and a bordering aspergers mum...Me :D
    So Messy any advice welcome.

Ur: I think your Union rep's suck big time. I spent 5 years with a union rep as my colleague and she would not have let this stand. You have my sympathy there is nothing worse than having to fight the management.

Miroslav: Really:rolleyes: how can you possibly castigate me over desparate Housewives when you have a crush on Britney??????? I like housewives so :p

I've spent the today doing my job and shopping for my OH and Mum's birthday presents. Attempted to do it as MSE as possible. Didn't do too bad, but was a little disorganised so not everything was a bargain.

It's my OHs birthday tomorrow so planning some cava and HM Pork, apple and blue cheese burgers with HM coleslaw for dinner. I would make pudding, but Oh is always too full to eat it.

Everybody cross your fingers and wish me a sunny day in Aberdeenshire tomorrow.

I think life would be a lot simpler if we were all cats.
You should see my p***y :p .......I think we have a new breed. The Sausage Cat

Anyway guys sorry that I'm just blabbing about myself.....often can't find the words of wisedom and advice.
I hope you all have a sweet weekend full of sunshine and relaxation and (for those with the inclination) a lovely bottle of wine to sip. CG: I often have a drink if I'm feeling like it. A nice gin and tonic used to shift my headache no end.

  • Hi everybody.

Love the picure Zombiecazz. I've got a sausage cat too. I swear if he got any lazier he would mutate into a liquid.......but I do adore him!

I'm sorry so many of you are having a rough time at work, especially Urban Spirit.

Urban, I really think you need to get out of that hell hole. Earlier today I was reading the local paper and I thought of you because there was a really big advert for someone who had started up a business doing courses in crystal healing, animal healing, psychic development, meditation, tarot palmistry and aura reading. She was charging between £40 and £255 per person per day. I thought that this would be right up your street to start up something like that and I can see from past posts that loads of others agree. I would book to come for a lesson if you are close enough!

Could you supplement your income by renting a room or something while you get established?

Please excuse me pitching in with my tuppence worth. I'd make a lousy councillor, as I can't help myself trying to find solutions to peoples problems!
Its so horrible to be caught between a rock and hard place that I always try to think up a way out.

Ooooh, Lisa is coming out of BB......back soon.

Wannabe youve started something here i normally only look at the credit card savings or mortgage pages on this site. I havent even looked at them tonight.
Girls are round tonight so theyve spent most of the night arguing whos having the pc, they ve now gone to bed so i can have a go.
Anyway loads of replies since i last looked and i have only quickly scanned through some but it seems people can open up more to someone they dont know rather than the partner they are with. Is that lonliness a bad relationship or just easier.
Been thinking about this site all week and talking at work(productions well down) about friendships and it seems most people have a few close friends they can rely on but dont often see them as they dont have time, family, work and so on. Even more surprising is the Family members they dont keep in contact with.
I think when you are on your own you have to make the effort to see friends and family. Even just to go out sometimes is a real struggle after a long day at work. It must be even harder after the bad days some off you guys have. Anyway took eldest Dancing last night and chatting to a few people there who are single and they all had made the effort initially to go along, had met people had a good time and now have another social date on the calender.
Miroslav Go along meet some new people learn a dance. It is intimidating its scary as hell, its good fun.
Anyway off to bed now with my book. Tomorrow im taking daughter into town so i shall be looking at everyone carrying a primark bag and if you are in costas and someone smiles, smile back it could be me. If its not, well you might make a new friend.
Take care everybody. (i know i shall have to come back).

    Morning (!) all.

Sending lost of positive vibes your way lilly with the house hunting. I won't tell you my story about house hunting...it'll scare you off! If they won't accept your offer, the house isn't worth it.

Hiya edgebiker, I liked you sentiments of smiling at people :) I'm looking forward to the Primark/Costa meet up in a few weeks, I hope others will be able to come?

shoppingnoodles - I think trying to offer solutions shows you are a lovely and caring person :D

zombiecazz - lovely cat :T My ex had cats and I fell in love with them. I really miss the female cat, she could always tell when I was low and needed some company, she would come and sit next to me. I think she was more aware of my feelings than he was!

    Have good weekends everyone

Wow careful girl - an amazing picture, thank you. Two of my friends own horses and I'm building up the courage to ask if I could sit on them. I've always wanted to learn to ride and maybe that would be a way of making friends?

I really should read things properly:o the horse is lily.

Zombie has your ds got her own coping mechanisims if she starts to overload. What triggers an overload, noise, texture, colour, crowds? Does she have problems processing information.
My youngest ds is dyspraxic to much information/instruction causes him to shut down and only remember one thing. He also gets locked in one train of thought that takes ages to get him out off. Would say he is aspi.
My Dad I have discovered, since starting my job,is definatly autistic:eek:
