A lunar eclipse coming over the horizon reflecting on the sea looks amazing.

with the moon shot - if you try it with a P&S then try but you wont get the same result as if you were to use a DSLR becuase with P&S, its like taking it in automatic. You have to have 100% control over the camera and as a P&S is auto, it will see the moon as white and the sky as black and it will try and brighten the sky and darken the moon - it will end up that you have a blown out pic of the moon in a white grey sky which isnt exactly what you will be looking out of your own eyes at. Moon shots are infact incredibly easy to take - just point your lens out your window, on manual, you need at min of 300mm (which on digital is 450mm) apature to around F20 and shutter to about 1/125 and click away. you MUST have a tripod or monopod (i used monopod) and just clicked away.

Shooting the sun and the moon in the same shot is harder - mainly because the sun and the moon pass each other not very often but you have to have your settings spot on or you will have lens flair aswell as a blown out image.

yeah have to agree with you there DSLR are very good, just not what im using at the mo as cant afford it. lol

i mainly do landscapes as my profession though and portraits, very interesting using large formatt camera, such great detail with facial expressions.

been doing camera work for 6 years now, so it a great passion of mine, i love developing my own photos and watching the image come thru, its great.
and yeah you gotta have fun as it is fun, lol.

moon is lovely tonight, unfortunately cant see it from here, so nice to see your photo thanks.

oh and whatamess is a old childrens tv show, shown in 80s maybe, there are also books on him,

well there is life in it, it died yesterday and managed to get it working again by taking it apart then putting it back x3 times,. but today its just gone its been in for repair 4 times now, but can no longer bring it back for repair as they keep fobbing me off and have moved away from sundrland to home on iom, its a lovely phone to. any ideas??

yeah your idea about my dream sounds spot on, but know its also about something else thats been haunting me for 3 years , but yes the stress at home would explain the dream coming back.

You had it about a year?? Shouldnt be playing up. I'd say initially wipe all the contacts and put it together again, but it sounds like either the contacts arent touching properly so no juice is either getting into the phone or the battery isnt connecting to power the phone.

The other option is that the phones a dodgy build! Sometimes in the factories either one or a batch come out and are faulty from an early stage. If you want to keep the phone you could try replacing the battery with a new one - but let me know what they said first.

Phones can last for ages - I use one thats nearly 6 years old and its still fab, even after I spilt a glass of red wine over it!

I've got a really good phone shop near me, I know the guys in there so its cheap and theyre sh** hot at what they do

Rose ~ Virgin are a good place for cheap phones, they do reconditioned ones too and they all come with £5 credit. You can also text for free until September to other Virgin mobiles. Worth a look anyway
