Oh I have missed being able to post here - my 2 month old laptop died on me the day after I freecycled my old desktop job and I have just got laptop back tonight !! For some unknown reason I can't read or post here in my new job - says it's a chat room , will kick up a fuss when I'm past the 4 week mark.
Hope you are all fabulous - have got quite a lot of pages to read but looks like you are all doing ok and it was nice to see Miroslav is around again - I was getting worried x
Been busy with new job , it's a bit exhausting with the extra travel in this heat but sure it will be ok. Was on a work trip to Bracknell monday and tuesday , bt of a trip down memory lane as lived in that area for a few years - got quite emotional !
On the boy front - toy boy turned out to have a toy girl who is away studying , turned out ok as he was way too young for me anyway but I was rather annoyed that he wasn't straight with me.
Been on a couple of dates , got another one on Sunday and I am emailing a total husband material man I met on Friday , he's up in Edinburgh but is going to come and sweep me off my feet soon lol. To be honest I am totally loving being single at the moment - a boyfriend for the winter nights would be nice but have actually realised it's not essential !
My gumtree friend is fab - we have been out loads and I guess it's a bit like falling in love when you click with a new friend it's wonderful.
I'm going to spend the rest of the evening catching up with all you lovely people's news with a nice glass of cold pink wine.
Whhhooopppppppppeeeeeeeeee I'm so glad to be back in action

Oh forgot something I need your advice on ...
Last saturday I did my irregular stint babysitting for my niece and nephew and when I got home at half one I noticed a car badly parked about 5 doors up , as I approached I noticed there was someone in there even though the lights were off so I looked as I drove past and I am 99% positive it was my violent ex. I was really freaked out , came in and grabbed the phone ready to call the police , after about 5 mins he drove off.
I debated for ages about wether to call the police anyway or if I should contact him and ask what he was doing there. The last big incident was a couple of years ago when he drove his wreck of a car into my brand new car - this was followed by regular phone calls in the early hours when he'd slur drunkenly and play Gabrielles out of reach down the phone. I contacted him then by text saying he had to stop or I would phone the police , that I was recovering from major surgery and had a new partner - from that day nothing until last weekend.
Should I just hope that it was a one off ? I have been having a few silent calls too - it's worse as it was obvious that I was living alone , I hadn't shut the curtains and came back on my own.
Probably over-reacting but he tried to kill me once so it was really upsetting.

My laptop has died too. This keyboard is awful. Sorry to hear about the TB but pleased that you have a nice scottish guy. I would try to get his number blocked. I did that when some Debt collectors got my number (didn't owe them anything). BT have a section on nuisance calls. if you feel unsafe call the police. Get some advice from them or CAB. I can't offer much otherwise.
Right time to get ready for an anniversary meal. Still haven't told him about the date but have offered to take him out. He is very sad as no news from the job.
Oh he does have an interview in Ramsgate. We get a hotel room paid. Anyone close by? Don't know how i will organise the animals though.

Brilliant day totally whacked when I got home. Loads of talking but the silences were comfortable.

V short note, can't type with nails on!
Love Dover castle.
My wedding anniversary was a washout, went shopping he left me loving card but he spent the day in the pub with the rest of the losers. At least my Mum doesn't like him much.
Hair is OK, she cut my fringe too short, I told her it wasn't meant to be a fringe but hey it is now. I should really remember she always does it how she wants it, not how I want it. It looks nice though and will look better when I do it myself tomorrow.
Other than that just went out for last min holiday bits, you know foot lotion, flip flops etc. One more day till we go - I spent time in the garden this evening polishing all my handbags and treating all the footbeds on my Birkenstock collection with cork stuff. Sad eh?The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j0
