Hi all. hope you've all had a good day. Doc is sending me for an xray on me knee. Am at the hospital tomorrow for something else anyway so will get that done at same time.

Got a dvd out tonight from Blockbuster while its only 99p and i've just turned it on to realise i've already seen it :( gutted. what a waste of money.

Oh well, there goes my money saving for today and i now realise i used my only 2 pound coins on the film and bag of chips. Now i have to break into my last tenner to get two pound coins for the hospital carpark tomorrow.

Going to get an early night now. Earplugs at the ready.

    Night everyone x

cantcope, shame about the dvd, hope you get on fine tomorrow at the hospital, lots of love and hugs xx
  • CantCope hope the x-ray goes well, its always best if you can find out the cause of the pain.

Zombiecass - keep going on the kitchen it'll all be worth it in the end.

Urbs - relax today its done and sent so you just need to wait for a response which I'm sure will take some time, treat yourself - even if its to a nice long soak in the bath.:grouphug:

Final holiday prep here having my hair done today - I usually have 3 different colours put in, blonde, chocolate and a few violet streaks in the back. They really are very subtle and you only notice them when the light shines in a certain way. Also having my toenails repainted (it costs £9 every 3 weeks, and I do a hideous job myself and they do french!) and I'm splashing out on acrylics which I don't have very often and usually I get from the cheap chinese place. Today I'm getting proper ones done at the salon, its about 10 quid more but they are much nicer.:j

I put a load of washing on this morning before looking at the weather forcast, looks like I'll have to hang it indoors:mad:

Hope you all have a good day today.

Wow Kp ~ sounds like fun :) I keep thinking about getting my nails done but I haven't yet taken the plunge, the up keep of them puts me off, it takes me all my time to get my hair cut ~ although I do tend to go every 8 weeks now.

I have thought about getting a couple of colours put in, my hair is jet black so I haven't ever coloured it (apart from my teens when I bleached my fringe ~ it was hideous :o)

I left the throws out on the line so I'll be mad if it rains, even though the garden is desperate for it. Alot cooler today, much easier when I have to work but why is it always forecast rain for the weekend?

    Have fun all

    Philippa xx

Oh CG :( my Dad took me out on my first wedding anniversary as my ex was away, allegedly working but more likely out spending money we couldn't afford...

My Mum still talks to my ex and it does occasionally drive me crazy ~ she even lent him money a couple of months back

I try not to think about it, its up to her who she talks to and spends her money on.

Shouldn't he do something for you on your anniversary? Even if he has no cash he should be able to think of something. I wouldn't take him out for a meal, I'd wait to see what he does first.

    Hugs

Don't drink milkshakes around modems, for fear of spilling onto said modem.

I have learnt my lesson, and Modem has now dried out and is working again, so thanks but no thanks dialup, I prefer my 'upto 8 meg' connection. Although I have no real need for it and thought I was on 2meg.

    Anyway, onwards and upwards :)
