You can also make angel delight or creme caramel from packets - think they just need milk added to them. It's also an ingredient in some soups - leek and potato springs to mind. Oh and of course, you can add it to scrambled eggs, porridge, and mashed potatoes.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Hi Little Vics,
There's an earlier thread on 'what to do with milk' that has lots more suggestions so I've added your thread to it to keep the ideas together.

HELP!
I have far too much milk and the use by date was yesterday. I have made a huge rice pudding in the Remoska but I still have 4 pints left to use today.
What else can I make?
BTW it still tastes fine but there's only so much tea I can drink
Thanks,
TracyIf Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -
You can freeze it - if in plastic bottles, undo the lids first in case they pop when the milk expands. You can use ice cube trays to make milk cubes (quick to defrost) or just put a plastic bag inside a box or jug to freeze, then store the block of milk in the bag once it's frozen.

Can you freeze rice pudding?

Thanks to a c0ck up with my online shopping I have 8 pints of full fat milk with a use by date of tomorrow.
That would usually last me a fortnight.
I don't want to freeze it because it's non-homogenised and it never defrosts nicely.
So, what can I make to use up say 6 pints of it that will last a few days? I have half a dozen eggs or so................I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0
