make pancakes - my recipe used lots of milk. 1 egg, few spoonfuls of sugar then equal amounts of sr flour and milk approx 400 mls - the pancakes go so quick you have to make more , so before you know it - no milk.

I was in sainsburys just before it closed at got 2 x 1l bottles of creamy jersey milk cheap. Thought I'd freeze it if couldn't think of anything else but would rather use it today if possible. If I freeze it do I need to pour a bit out or does it not expand much?

I wanted to do ice cream but most recipes need a lot of eggs but I only have 3 - might just use half for custard and half for a yummy milkshake if nobody has any better ideas

    Rice pudding maybe...
  • i usually just freeze milk in the containers.

the icecream recipes i use never have eggs in :/ they do require cream though which probably isnt something you have just sitting around!

rice pudding is a good suggestion cos it uses loads of milk....or custard or angel delight or milk jelly....i hope you have kids!
