Get the kids to drink it instead of squash or juice, make nice milky coffee instead of water, boil up milk instead. Jelly and milk pudding (like blamange), plenty milkshakes. Doesnt anyone you know have some extra freezer space for you to freeze some?0

Hi Beki
I know you're already pretty much sorted with what to do with all your milk, but good food website has come up with 183 recipes using milk so I thought it worth posting anyway! Do let us know how you get on in your milky adventure

Do you have a local church or old people's lunch club nearby who could help distribute any that you think you might not be able to use in your cookathon?
Someone might be willing to collect and distribute it for you so you wouldn't have to speak to lots of new people.

We use a lot of milk too but I would be so cross if my husband did that when he knew I couldn't possibly use or store that amount of milk. I think I'd be tempted to make him drink all 76 pints.
What about giving some to your neighbours and friends so it doesn't get wasted and you could freeze some too. This thread might give you some ideas:

I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together.

Since it is whole milk I'd have a go at making butter, yogurt, cottage cheese and paneer. All of those will give you greater options and extend the shelf life without needing to use your precious freezer space.
UKTVfood has a good recipe for paneer and when I last made it it kept in the fridge for 3-4 days.0 -
tapioca drinks milk up if you can stomach it0
