some eye drops (sodium cromoglicate) which seem to make his eyes worse!
Did the same to me.
My doctor told me I am allergic to it, so I would stop using it and see the doctor.0 -

Has anyone else had any luck

Tesco pharmacists really don't seem to like letting people have the pharmacy packs - I persisted at our local store yesterday and finally managed to get 30 Loretadine for £1.40 in spite of initially being told that what was on the shelves was all they had. Try asking for a pack of 30 tablets from behind the pharmacy like they would supply if you had a prescription from your GP.0 -
My GP recommended Telfast and that works very nicely. I've been using it since last year to telling effect. I would happily recommend it.:jtranmererovers wrote:My poor hubby is suffering terribly at the moment I sent him back to the docs yesterday and she upped his meds from 120mg to 180mg but it doesn't seem any better. He's taking Telfast (active ingredient = fexofenadine (sp?)) and some eye drops (sodium cromoglicate) which seem to make his eyes worse!
This fexofenadine doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere

My son and I are both suffering with hay fever for the first time this year. He is snuffly and my throat is extremely dry and sore. I went to docs for his (which came on before mine) and he has cetirizine syrup, which he only needs to take once a day, but how soon should he see an improvement with this as this is his 4th day and he does not seem to be getting any better? There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

My daughter does not get any relief from cetirizine, but I would suspect you need to give it a week before you go back. She was prescribed loratadine next and they worked last year but not this. She is now on fexofenadine and flixonase and eye drops. Bad year for her.0 -

No stocks in local Morrisons or Superdrug, but Boots had just had some in ... at 6.95! Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks this at a 'more reasonable' price, please. Thanks! If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0
