Morning all
And I thought the rain we had was bad - did you see carlisle on the news this morning? really feel for those people.
I got 5 of my MS jobs done yesterday and they were the ones that were furthest away so I'll get three done on the way to and from taking DS2 to work this morning, two at lunchtime with DH and throw in a bit of christmas shopping then one tonight between picking DS1 up at 4 and DS2 at 5 then the last one is a cinema job that me and DS-D (age 10) are doing tonight - we're going to see Disney's A Christmas Carol ...not sure who's more excited me or her!
I must confess if I got any visitors today I think I'd have to make them stand outside - my house is an absolute tip!! I'm hoping to fit my shopping in at some point today and then that leaves me with no need to go out for the rest of the weekend so I can get stuck in! DS1 doesn't start work til 4 tomorrow so he may give me a hand although there's no keeping him in at the moment with his new found freedom!
So I have half a meal plan drafted so I should be able to do a shopping list before taking DS2 to work (DS1 started at 7 so it was an early start for us this morning!) and I suppose I should go and get sorted.
Hope everyone had a safe and hopefully dry day today

Morning all
When will the rain and wind go away! Still blustery and now raining - yuck, English Autumn and Winter is definitely here! At least we are not in the flood areas, my hearts go out to those that are, have had experience of floods many years ago and it's not nice at all. Got quite a few jobs done yesterday so making headway, but need to go into town to the bank this morning and then food shopping, but will then be able to have the rest of the day indoors, need to pack for going away in the morning and the children are going to grandparents tonight. Will make some hob nobs later. Feeling pleased with myself as managed to lose another 2lb so total weight loss is 2 stone 4 lb, so still getting slimmer slowly but surely! Not much other OS to report so will sign off as I need to crack on.
Have a good weekend everyone, keep safe and well, hugs to those that need them.

Just about to nip into the shower quickly and then get dressed ready for DH to drive me to the warfarin clinic and back (three times this week).
Enjoyed the slow cooker stew I made last night to give DH a break and might do something simple tonight like sausages, mash and gravy.
DD(15) had a not very nice day yesterday so made her a couple of home made pancakes to cheer her up.
We go past Tesco on the way home so will pop in there for a few bits and bobs- might buy a few packets of Bodyform with the free lipgloss attached - lipgloss good to pop in DDs Christmas stockings.
If I can remember to do it, will buy some rolls of wrapping paper, sellotape and letters of the alphabet to initial wrapped presents quickly.
Hugs to everyone and see you later"This site is addictive!"

Morning all - I'm off to work - in my pyjamas, dressing gown, slippers and a teddybear - Children in Need moment at work - it feels very strange as I'm normally in smartish office wear. In my bones I just know this will be the one day in my life when I'm stopped by the police and asked to get out of my car as hundreds of motorists stream by!0

Morning all,
Haribo - jealous! I wish I could stop in and do some crafting!!! In fact I think I'll join the others and pop to yours for the dayPick me up on the way please
MSD - glad to hear that Tris is getting stronger must be such a relief for you
nmlc - congratulations on your weight loss!
Feeling a bit anxious myself at the moment. I should be ovulating around now (sorry if TMI) but I've got none of the symptoms and am starting to worry that I've got a real problem. I'm thinking that I'm only ov'ing from one side as I didn't ov the cycle before last either. DH sort of dimissed me, saying not to be daft, of course I haven't got a problem, but something just doesn't feel right. I've been really good this cycle for not obsessing and even stopped charting my temperature but I was expecting to have symptoms now and I've not got one.
On a lighter note, DH has a voucher for 4 people to have a carvery for £5 each so we're taking my Mum and Dad out tomorrow. Have also got to find a frock for the company Christmas do as the two that I have I can't wear as they're both backless and since coming off the pill to conceive I've had the worst spots on my back! Ewww!!
Tea tonight is going to be ribs in spicy sauce, HM jacket wedges and HM coleslaw. So glad it's Friday today - sick of this working for a living thing  I'm sure my parents must have a massive trust fund hidden away for me somewhere... :rotfl:
Have a lovely day, hugs in abundance xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,
