Op, I agree with you. If serving soup in this way is their normal practice then I'm surprised there have been no more mishaps.
Have you replied to the Health and Safety officer, expressing your disatisfaction with his comments? I'd be inclined to write to the main head office (address on website) asking if this is normal practice throughout.
As for the other replies...am I missing something?Herman - MP for all!0 -

If you're referring to mine then I apologise for any offence caused to you or the OP.0 -

I'm not offended....just a bit puzzled. The first post made perfect sense to me so I was surprised to see all the daft replies. I just wondered if I was missing something about the OP.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Am surprised at the comments, and the level of judgemental comments. Without revealing anything about my personal circumstances or appearance, I do not seek compensation of any kind, but would like to report to a consumer protection body to investigate (waiting for someone to shout out that I am ashamed of my jam-jarred bespectacled greasy attributes?).
I was sent to A&E by my boss, after several burn blisters appeared on my left hand. One is large - the size of a 50p coin and has hardened into a raised growth. Thankfully the burns are only third-degree and swelling has been prevented by burn spray and hospital dressing. I am told to come back in 3 days - hopefully the growth will not be permanent.
Anyway, as I seem to be having little luck in getting some help, goodbye and thank you for your time. I hope that people with more serious injuries find the help they require, instead of strange unfounded replies.0 -

No, I think she just posted at an unfortunate time when a couple of us with daft SOH were reading.
And some who were not very understanding of her problem, which is very MSE.0 -

Ah, ok thanks for clearing that up.
Shame really, I think the OP had a valid complaint tbh. I'd like to know if they served everyone in this way.Herman - MP for all!0
