  • I have never had to que to get items from aldi, for instance at the moment they have got 3.5 million candle power rechargable torches for sale, £4.50 you can get £14.00 per item if you list these as a featured item, quantity 6, always start at 99 p for items that are featured as you will get loads of hits, and start a bidding war.

Stay clear of DIY tools as the market is too competative.
    Regards

  • I don't mind sharing a tip or two as this was over a year ago and now they've all gone but there are other bargains to be had..........

TKMAXX is a good start, I was debating on treating myself to a pair of adidas japan trainers from Size in covent garden, £ 140 a pair. Hmmmm, imagine my suprise when in Tkmaxx I came across a pair for £19.99.!!!!!
Of course I purchased them took them home and then came to my senses, I went right back and bought all seven pairs they had on the shelves aswell as others that i came across. 20+ pairs of trainers later and after fees well over £1000 profit in less than four weeks, handy just before xmas, I even sold the ones I bought myself.

I still go in every now and then and look for certain items, have one at the moment but keeping schtum on this one, but certain makes appear in small quantities and if your around my age group(33!) and a bit fashion conscience you'll know what to look for. Some biggies in the past but seem to be no longer where onitsuka tiger trainers, a mere £8 in some stores, ebay £60, although now saturated and hard to find, also maharishi snopants, selfridges £120 +, tkmaxx as low as £15.00, ebay £50 minimum.(these can still be found).
You do have to spend considerable time mooching through the racks and racks of clothes which can be a pain but as I have said it can be worth it. I travel a lot with work so frequent the different branches from time to time and believe me I am not the only person doing this, the shops seem to have their regulars (nudge, nudge, wink, wink!)
Charity shops should never be overlooked, have had a couple of reasonable items from there that have made a profit on ebay (and if you get a nice one which one was, its worth thinking about sending some of the profit back their way).
Also wholesalers are quite easy to come across, try google, but be prepared to outlay a lumper and order minimum stock levels.

Only problem now is that TK seem to have increased the prices a bit, certain things now appear cheaper on ebay than they do in the shops, so somebody somewhere must have other methods......(?)

TKMaxx is brilliant if you know what to find.. I'll give a few tips... Y3 trainers, Smedley jumpers, Evisu jeans..

Make sure you thank me by private message if any of you go out and make a profit off any of that :)

Also, Aldi have a newsletter whereby they send you a weekly e-mail of the latest offers.. its at this address here: http://www.aldi.co.uk
  • i have found a supplier of old sinclair whatches unused. an old boy that lives on my street who used to work there has a stack of them and i mean a stack also calculators. so i let one go every now and then just to keep the price up we makes £100's of pounds each one. we keep them back cos if i/we flooded the market with them they would drop like a stone. (just like diamonds)

unlucky suckers ........... this will keep me happy for years no need to go rooting through musty old clothes or other peoples dustbins. keep your eyes and ears open and there may be an aladins cave out there waiting for you too.
