I don't think that lots of people are having problems! When you consider how many people visit these forums each and every day and that there only seems to be a handful of users with any problems.

 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

I need to bump this thread as I have been experiencing the problems described. I have had them at work for a couple of weeks and now I am getting them at home.

It is driving me up the wall. I have tried deleting temporary files and pressing Ctrl & F5.

Every time the forum appears in my browser it seems to have disassociated itself from the stylesheet. It displays all the wrong fonts, the drop-down menus do not work properly and when I click the smilies in posts they don't work.

Please, please can someone help me or I will have to stop coming here because it is giving me a headache!

All the problems described here I experience as well. At home on Windows 98, and at work, same thing using Windows 2000. Ctrl & F5 refreshes page but does not clear the problem. What seems to work for me is clicking another section, and then clicking back on Chat Forums. But, all in all, this brilliant site is VERY temperamental.

I have posted in a couple of old threads on here but nobody has responded. I also emailed the webmaster before the weekend, but they haven't bothered to reply either.

I have had to switch to Firefox in order to use the site, but to be honest I am just using it less due to the problems.

I realise that this doesn't sound very helpful but if it works fine for you when you use a different browser and it always works fine for me when using IE, it must surely be a problem with your set up.

yup i still have all of the problems. Although it will occasionally mend itself for an hour or 2, then go back to normal!!

Yes i agree it must be something to do with our setup, but surely as it was working fine for ALL of us before MSE changed something, they can sort it out???

I think the majority of us are using works computers and there is only so much fiddling around we can actually do with them.
