I'm going to give this one a go on one of my spare machines (just built another one ready for this out of spare bits).

I found that when installing untick the spare components by Yz and the other One where the name escapes my, dont install the toolbar, I think its three unticks at the bottom.
Plus on that site they have some nice simple wallpapers aswell.0 -

I already figure that I will only install the basics (like I do with any OS). Anything else can be added afterwards once I've sussed out how the OS is going to react to me.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I said that because as far as I can tell its a Install or Remove not an add remove components setup.0 -
I am using this CrystalXP instead of downloading the Beta Vista.

OK, a couple of questions:
1) Is it possible to get any of the semi-transparency effects with the windows/start menu on this new-look like Win Vista is supposed to have?
