XP with classic view enabled. Really can't stand the XP start-menu (still).

I'm going to give this one a go on one of my spare machines (just built another one ready for this out of spare bits).

I'll be back (if I hit major prblems).

Oooh no I like the XP menu, with the new Overlayed Crystal Vista skin its really nice, I did post a few links to some piccies of my desktop on this or the other thread.

I found that when installing untick the spare components by Yz and the other One where the name escapes my, dont install the toolbar, I think its three unticks at the bottom.

Plus on that site they have some nice simple wallpapers aswell.

I already figure that I will only install the basics (like I do with any OS). Anything else can be added afterwards once I've sussed out how the OS is going to react to me.

I said that because as far as I can tell its a Install or Remove not an add remove components setup.

OK, a couple of questions:

1) Is it possible to get any of the semi-transparency effects with the windows/start menu on this new-look like Win Vista is supposed to have?

2) Why have so many of you suddenly switched to England flag avatars? :rolleyes: Oh wait it's probably because youo want to be just like me :cool:
