No ranting on there, plenty of information in the sticky where people can read up on the truth, and an awful lot of experienced members to help out too.

Christ you really are pulling some straws out of the sky.

I'l put it simply......... You are on this forum, therefore have access to the internet. Navigate to google and search for these articles you have, it shouldn't be too hard to find them as you seem to know them so well.

I thought you would have posted something by now as I want something to chat about on HDMI cables :D

I think the point of this thread should be about telling the average consumer that they dont need to buy the £80 HDMI cable pushed on them by the salesman at PC World because using a cheaper cable "is like putting old tyres on a new car".

In normal use a £5 cable will perform just as well. If the cable does not work, i.e. you get sparkles or other digital corruption then the cable is faulty and should be taken back.

[Important note added by admin : Different HDMI cables do not affect the quality of the picture. FACT. Reviews stating that cables produce a 'more natural image' or 'better colours' are complete rubbish. See this video for the latest info on HDMI 1.4 as of July 2009.]

No. I fear you have all been diverted from the most serious technical issue, here.

The thread should have been entitled, "Which HDMI lead?" not "What HDMI lead."

This has to be addressed first. We need to get our priorities right.

    :D

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.
