I'l put it simply......... You are on this forum, therefore have access to the internet. Navigate to google and search for these articles you have, it shouldn't be too hard to find them as you seem to know them so well.

I think the point of this thread should be about telling the average consumer that they dont need to buy the £80 HDMI cable pushed on them by the salesman at PC World because using a cheaper cable "is like putting old tyres on a new car".
In normal use a £5 cable will perform just as well. If the cable does not work, i.e. you get sparkles or other digital corruption then the cable is faulty and should be taken back.
