Speed camera and insurance question

  • Never heard of that one and it certainly isn't stated in my insurance document. Just says that I am allowed to drive a car not belonging or hired to me with the car owners permision. Cover is only 3rd party though.

Just checked my policy and it states

The policyholder may also drive a private motor car not belonging to him/her and not hired to him/her under a hire purchase or leasing agreement as long as the policyholder has the owner's permission to drive the car.

Doesn't say that my girlfriend cannot own the car as long as the car does not belong to me I am covered to drive it.
