Just checked my policy and it states
The policyholder may also drive a private motor car not belonging to him/her and not hired to him/her under a hire purchase or leasing agreement as long as the policyholder has the owner's permission to drive the car.
Doesn't say that my girlfriend cannot own the car as long as the car does not belong to me I am covered to drive it.Iva started Dec 2018.0
