Another one of the bearish posters balloons being popped, do you remember when they told us that our Polish friends were going home in droves, because the UK was such a crappy place to live well this may be reversing.
Not conclusive, maybe they are just hungrier
Tesco says that, since June, sales of Polish delicacies, such as pickled vegetables, carrot juice and canned fish, have risen by 15%.

I suggest more conclusive than some of the govt stats
BTW have you ever tasted Polish food? especially those dumplings. Like I said maybe they are just getting hungrier, I can't believe that the Brits are buying it (Except for Jennihen
) it is not exactly Chicken Tika Massala (yes I now that is actually a Glasgow dish). 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Firework sales in November were up on October. Does that mean the Chinese are moving in?The only thing that is constant is change.0

DH loves lots of Polish food. I had a Polish aquaintance, since returned, bu some of the people she was living with are still here, who made the most amazing cake, I think it translated as mouldy cake, or dirty cake, or something, I'm afraid I can't remember but it was nice.

Are we using the Poles as some form of fiscal barometer?.
We must be good/bad as the Poles are staying/leaving !
Perhaps we can persuade the BBC to introduce a Pole swing-o-meter on the news. You know like FTSE, oil price, number of poles that kinda thing .Space available for rent0
