You are a youngster, its good that you have never had to feel that way. I didn't until I had my first child. I was 'sympathetic' with people when they had miscarriages till I had one myself and then realised I had no idea what people were really going through.

    You aren't odd btw....well not much..:D

I think the other problem is because my sister was ill so much as a child I said to myself 'I never want to be that whining irritating person', I know it was the illness that made her that way (thank goodness she isnt like that now), but it shocked me how horrendous a person she became...even though she was very seriously ill so its a bit different but you catch my drift (I hope :o)

Well done on the docs appointment - bet you feel relieved :D

This week, I have really felt like I needed someone to give me blankets and cuddles. It's pants when you're ill and single!

    Yup...isn't it? <cue the violins>

Drat forgot to bring something to put on my potato for lunchie...will have to nip out and buy some beans which breaks my non-processed food thing grrrr

Well most food is processed, even if it is just "Cut the bits of animal you don't want away from the bits of animal you do want" kind of processing.

Was there some specific processing you had in mind?

No its not a symptom more a side effect...I am quite placid normally - honestly I am! It takes a lot to wind me up normally. But lately I just feel like punching someone...no one in particular but I would give me a wide berth just lately.

Though not that wide, as you only have short arms... ;)

    Morning all

Thanks for the heads up on the hotel chocolate thingy - ordered! :j

Happy birthday Bookie - hope you have a lovely day x

Sammy - Glad your Dr's seem so on the ball, lets hope the tablets help get you back to where you want to be.....What did DH say?

Sanggs - Hope you're feeling better soon...I had a dose of the flu about 3 weeks after splitting with my ex husband....then both girls came down with a sickness bug, I couldn't cope and had to call him in the middle of the night to come help....I hated feeling so weak, in more ways than one.

Zed - Nice to see you back :j

Went to bed at 9 last night feeling cold and achy, an hour later I was shaking with cold and my skin hurt, the fever broke around midnight and DH managed to get up and sort DD's for me this morning so I slept until 10.30am....feel fine now - what's that all about?

Sooo glad I don't have £50 in my account, there's an offer on the vouchers board where you spend £50 (or less if you're doing 342) at Thorntons and get a £50 hamper free... Have just bought a nice pendant for £3 delivered that I saw on the grabbit board though. I think I'm going to start getting offers like that and sticking them in a box for presents, should make the next year a lot cheaper.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I just had a look at that Thorntons offer - seems like a good deal if you've got lots of people to buy for...I think I'd just end up trying everything before it left the house :D
