It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Awwwww, I was quite touched by that. :)

This week, I have really felt like I needed someone to give me blankets and cuddles. It's pants when you're ill and single!

Sammy, make sure you get to the doctors hon. I'll be thinking of you.

Edit - Thanks Ames too, somehow I missed that post!

    morning everyone

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOKIE

I'm so mad :mad::mad: I got forwarded an email and I'm blooming glad I did. cos I've found out that my offer to meet with someone has been interpreted as I think she'll cause trouble. There's 2 of us in the office at the mo, and a third due to join us in april and she's used to being in her office on her own so I'm being blooming realistic in that there will be issues to address and I wanted to have an opportunity to do that without any of us feeling that we're opening a can of nasty worms (or being afraid to raise issues for fear of rocking the boat and making it worse)!

Why do I bother? So glad I spoke with the managers about moving on if an opportunity arises.

Rant over, I'm off swimming with piccolina (little pickle)!
