i bought a dvd
it clearly states bididng starts at 99p
i won for 1.24
i only bid cos it clearly says FREE p&p
5 days later the guy says
im not posting till you pay postage
i say what? what postage says free & paypal charged me 1.24
he says if youd not been so impatient and waited ud have got a second invoce to pay £1.65 extra p&p
i say i dont usually hang around paypal after my transactions completed, but it states free
so he says if you were reading listings properly youd read further down item
a p& p charge will be added
i now looked & yes he has put that in wording. at bottom of listing
however
i told him hes breaching ebay & any selling regulations by stating its free pP to get you to buy & then slips in that that was an untruth to mak you bid
weve had an awful argument. he says if i dont pay i get bad feedback (my feedack perfect)
can a seller leave bad feedback
ive done 0 wrong but he has
can i get some valuable mse advice on this please
thanks
ps. after buying i go straight to pay pal get charged £1.24
no invoice has arrived for another £1.65
cos i think hes a chancer but does have perfect feedback too
i want my dvd but am not paying extra to get it0 -
redbull08 - can't help with a phone number but try asking in the community section (of ebay) if no-one here can help. They can be very useful with info over there.
This is the one reason I don't use ebay very much anymore. It's just not as fun and honest as it used to be. Making sellers offer free P+P is way out of order IMO so I can understand he wants a buyer to pay but if it's clearly stated FREE P+P and ebay rules state it then he should have put a higher start price to include some costs.
Hope you get it sorted.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
Redbull - as far as ebay are concerned, you have paid and you need to raise an item not received dispute. What he is doing is against ebay rules and is fee evaison. If you go to the ebay thread lots of experienced ebay users will tell you the exact same thing as they have seen this before.Thank you all who post.0

redbull, a seller cannot leave negative feedback but YOU can.0
