Evening all, Know the feeling Crin, we've had post a couple of days but none yesterday or today, think we're the last road on a round, don't hardly ever get post before 12.
Hopefully they are saving it all up for a big delivery tomorrow.
((Hugs)) to all those with losses. Hope all the colds and coughs get better soon.

    Thanks folks :D,

have managed to write a good chunk of the essay, although was very tempted to take a peek on many occasions (as well as think that the oven needed cleaning, and other such work-avoidance classics!). I'll need the same encouragement tomorrow and now am off to catch up on all the lovely comps ...

    arghhhhh......

yippeee, finally managed to sit down for more than 2 mins.... I have 8 children here playing atm. Our snow is freezing, rather than melting, we'd had this since 20th dec now. I feel so sorry for the birds.

Hope everyone is coping with the weather. Crin and kkk I really feel for you both, my back and pelvis are pretty good atm, but you do feel so unsafe when your using a stick or feel at all unsteady in this weather.

Ohhhh, did you see our snow here, we made the ITV news last night because of our icicles, lol... heres some piccys to fb to show them better, some are nearly 2m in length now Just a bit of Snow
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

    Hiya all :hello:

    hope that everyone is well,

I haven't been on the boards much since Christmas as I haven't been doing many comps as I have been taking a break from them

it now looks like the break will be an extended one as I have just canceled my SKY tv subscription and purchased a Humax Freesat PVR digital box

because I have cancelled my tv sub SKY are cancelling my SKY talk telephone and SKY Unlimited broadband tomorrow  and I am not sure when I will be able to get a broadband connection again :(

the good news is that I will save £84.48 per month :D

to tell you the truth I'm not really bothered about doing comps anymore as I have become bored with them, this may change as I have been through this phase many many times before

just thought that I would let you know In case you where wondering where I was

    Best of Luck :)

omg, £84 on sky, what pack did you have... We only pay about £22, and could have had unlimited talk and some sort of free broadband for that. But dh is old fashioned and likes BT for phone, aol for net, etc...

    Sky World £48.50
    Sky+HD Pack £10
    ESPN £9

    Total TV = £67.50

    Sky Broadband £10

In actual fact the total charges are £77.50

the remainder are call charges ;)

not really missing sky as we like watching movies and there are 6 movie channels on freesat they might not be in HD or 5.1 dolby digital surround but they are watchable and with freesat I have a 320GB hard drive compared to SLY's miserley 160GB (there hard drive is actually 320GB but they reserve 160GB for there own use) so I can record more movies to watch at a later date :D

probably will miss the footie most of all although the way MU have been playing of late maybe not
