Saga renewd my home insurance without telling me or asking me & actually put the price up for this year is that ok????
ive only been with them for 1 year
i am now waiting on a call from them so would really like to know before they do

do you pay by direct debit?
if you have signed a contract, read that and see what it says.
if they mention that they will tell you or not.
doesn't sound right though. you might not have wanted to use them again.
i'd speak to them, if they phone you back

yes direct debit but theyve put price up without foretelling me
just wondered if thats legal

Did you sign up online. I'm just think because I did my breakdown cover online and they sent me an email saying they would take the payment the same way as last time. I only know this cause a payment I wasn't expecting went out and when I chased it up I'd trashed the email thinking it was junk. All my other insurances even though applied for online send me a letter telling me they are up for renewal. I am pretty sure they have to notify you of any changes. As it's paid by direct debit you can claim it back and look elsewhere. They will charge you for any 'cover' you have already had though.

Thank you for the coments about my doggies. They are cute, we got both by default but love them to bits. All the snowy photos are fab. I just love snow, my OH laughs at me because I get all excited. This is snow like we used to get.

lol Jean my oh is the same the other day he informed me the snow sends me crackers:rolleyes: just cos i wake up in the night and check to see if there is anymore snow, then when we get up i'm wanting to go out make snowmen take kids sledging etc and all he can do is moan about them catching a cold:rolleyes:was he ever youngmakes me wonder sometimes then I remember about his tales of going down the big hill in our local woods (we all did years ago) on fertilizer bags, trays and anything else we could get our hands on, think he is just getting boring in his old age:D
