    Morning! xx

Paul walked to Station today as he didn't want me to risk driving, bless him, he left at 5:50am and got to london and into the office for 7:45am so did ok, he is leaving after all changes are sorted, his client is a major american fastfood giant, and thankfully are considerate and understand the weather affects people getting in xxx
Has it snowed anywhere last night? i know it did in scotland but did it anywhere else? its sheet ice time now, so im expecting a week of hell with that xx
How do u explain to a 12 year old, a snow day he should still be doing school work, not begging for x box, he thinks im mean and all other kids will be playing whilst he is going over the lessons he would have had.

I hope everyone is safe and ok, hope everyone coping ok, must comp otherwise when postie finally returns to delivering i wont have no treats! xxx

    Aww Toni, it's a snow day :j:j:j:j:j
I'm sure no other kids will be in doing schoolwork. We don't get many snow days now so it's time to get the sledge out or a cardboard box in my days. You'll both have lovely rosey checks and feel happy and healthy. Go have fun and your dodggie will love it if it's anything like mine. :D

Wow, I've just looked out of the window and there's a digger with it's bucket full of rocksalt and six men with spades. They are manually gritting the road. I saw the digger come on and move the snow from the centre of the road, but though that was as much as we were getting. Well done kirklees council, especially as we are one of the furthest villages from town. We've been stuck in since Monday night.

Toni, back to the snowday. It has been lovely hearing all the children on their sledges and the older ones on their snowboards out on the hills behind my home. There has been so much laughter and shrieks coming from there it warms the heart.:D

Back at work from the dentist. Wow it's cold out there! And snowing now too. A filling had fallen out apparently so have to have that redone - rubbish. But other than that all is fine. So I suppose it's not as bad as all that.

Rabbits are loving the snow Toni which is a good thing! The cold is fine too it's when it gets windy the problem is because they don't realise they are getting cold and just sit out in the run stupid things. They love their heat pad thing at night, they lay next to it with their heads on it like a pillow :)

:jyay snow day for both kids today:D
got a phone call from little woks headmistress this morning to say not to bother taking little woks to school as she had struggled to get there and they closed the school for the day then. :rolleyes:I did complain the past couple of days about the school been open but the headmistress lives in the same village as us and said she was managing to get to school so could everyone else:rolleyes:I did point out that she had a four wheel drive jeep and we didnt so maybe thats why we got the personal phone call from her home number:D What i didnt say was that i wasnt sending him to school today anyway because of the weather:rotfl:
council just been to see what they need to do when they replace the boiler next week, apparantly the floorboards have to come up in most of the bedrooms upstairs to remove the lead pipes, the back boiler has to be taken out, new radiators fitted and we might even be able to have a open fire in the front room aswell. Only problem next week if its as cold as this we will be freezing while they are doing the work.
Keeps snowing on and off here today.
Your kitten is lovely ratgirl, big woks has got a couple of kittens and they are very playful.
Toni tell ev that snow day means that he has to go out in the snow and build snowmen and sledge then when he has done all that he can come in and play on his x box:D Hope paul gets home quickly to you.
Splodz our rabbits used to love lying in the snow aswell:D
mr woks has just had to go and take a battery back he bought for the car yesterday which doesent work so his dad has took him.
what do you do if your toe is looking a bit like a raw sausage itms, little woks toes (only one) is a funny colour and sore and looks like it is frostbit?
wow what a load of waffle
    hope everyone is well
    to be updated:;)
