Awwww sooo cute! My friend got a kitten just before Christmas - I'm not normally a cat person but she was soo cute a sat and played with her and a little strip of card for ages! I didn't realise how playful kittens were - are they like that when they get older too?

I don't know if its the same for all cats, but my little jumpa-cat, at eight years old this may, is still as daft as she was when she was a kitten! except for - thank goodness! the way she used to attach herself to my ankles and run all the way up my body, to sit on my shoulders, every time I brushed my teeth! :rotfl: Tiny little kitten claws running up is really quite funny, don't think I could cope with an eight year old fatty! :rotfl:
EXTRA GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR 2015. XXX

  • Hi all, don't know if this is the right place for this - but I have a question - I'm English but live in Italy. I love competitions, but find it difficult to find any open to people outside the UK (with the advent of the Internet I would have thought it would have made sense) - or I find competitions which don't specify their regulations properly - would it be possible to start a listof comps open at an international/European level?
For example, the comps at sci-fi online (can't write link as a new user!) doesn't specify that it's NOT for people living outside the UK (that I can find, anyway) but it's pointless entering until I know for sure...
    Anyone help??

Lol I've got this image of a massive fat cat trying to climb up your body while you try to brush your teeth :rotfl:

    Morning everyone.

At work - still no snow day for me. Took twice as long to get to work but we're both in. Apparently we're forecast snow on and off all day.

Heard about the government's bright idea to ration grit to the 'most important' areas of the country... so what's the betting Kent and London get it all and Lincolnshire gets none despite the fact that you can't do anything here without having to get in a car because everything is so far apart?! And I bet the Highlands get none either. Stupid Government what's wrong with the councils doing it - ours isn't doing a bad job for once!!

    Anyway, rant over!

Hope you all have a fabby Friday.

Monring all. Glad to see everyones spirits are still up and raring to go.

It is very cold here again today which doesn't do me any good and I start to feel ill again sigh. I am sat here with the heating on, a fleece and a blanket thing around my legs and feet as there is a through draught that is so icy it makes you shiver. i can still feel it through the blanket.

Oncwe the deep freeze has finished I will be chasing the council about double glazing and new doors yet again. They should have them done by the end oof this year really even though the government moved the deadline for the decent homes standard to 2012.

I would so love to get out in the snow and play snowballs with my grandkids but I would spend all my time on my bum lol. Anyways I think I have developed a chest infection which doesn't help any as I can't get to the doctors or the chemist. Never mind

I also remember that the paths were cleared by using the ashes from the fires and the fires were a damn site better than these radiator thingys.

Also in those days nieghbours always looked out for older or vulnerable people to make sure they were OK. You could die round here and no-one would notice for about 3 months

    Anyway enough of the negativity.

Good luck with the comping all
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
