hi bazwod - just found your diary and wanted to say well done :T- not only with posting in the first place - but also for taking what everyone has said on board. Its really hard to lay everything out there - and to read everyone's comments/advice.

You are taking steps to reduce your debts - thats what counts (and I reckon your parents would be v proud that you are taking responsibility and sorting things out yourself;))

Thanks Rupe, very kind of you to say..... brought a tear to my eye about my parents being proud! What a geek I am!! I guess I'm ashamed to get into this position and the thought of them being proud is something I guess I'll aspire to. Thank you muchly :grouphug:

Ailsa, you've got a great reason to not go out - saving for the move and packing for it too. And then when you move you'll be busy unpacking and saving up for stuff for the new place (or that's what you can tell dudes!). Or you'll be able to have people over and have a cheap night in - the best fun ever!! And New moon eh - meant to hire Twilight at the weekend but totally didn't get round to it. Will put it on my to do list.

Shoe gal, most people have been so supportive and positive, i feel very lucky!! Thanks all!! :T:T:T :o:o:o

A girls night in retreat sounds great Ailsa. Maybe you could charge out the sofa for a bed if your girlf's have arguments with the OH. Actually, ignore that. That's taking the DFW too far! We'd all end up with no friends!! :rotfl: Night!!

    Hi Shoe gal and allisjayne

Not going too bad this week, equally, I've not been amazing! I did go into town with they boyf today and he spent £35 on me in Primark (Bless him! apparently coz i'm doing so well - like i've got a blimmin heroin addiction and I've managed to go cold turkey or something!!) and then I bought a lovely long wooly type waistcoat thing (sounds rank but is lush!) from H&M for £14.99. Soooo, for me, I'm doing pretty well. I've got loads to pay out for this month, christmas pressies and christmas overnight do so am not going to be paying as much off the credit card as I know I will in other months. But the main thing is for me that at the moment I'm not adding to it and I'm not just frittering money away mindlessly (although they had some awesome mince pies in Sainsbury's bakery this week - one pack for .99p or two packs for a £1. so i made the most of it and got four!!!)

How are you ladies doing? The packing going well allis? I keep forgetting about blimmin quidco site.....will go on later. I've started doing some 'comping' which I'm getting slightly addicted to. Better than searching ebay for a bargain mulberry or chloe bag though!!

Have you decorated your whole place yet shoe gal?! And how is the lincoln park after dark doing? Do you rate the coloured OPI gels? Have you ever had BioSculpture?? I'm doing the OPI course and have only ever had the coloured biosculpture on my nails. Am hoping the OPI is as good :o

    Hi

Well done on the shopping restraint :j and  to fab boyf for treating you

Decorating is finished and the Lincoln Park survived intact  Really like the OPI, had Biosculpture French once but didn't like it. Didn't look good at all - although I suspect that might have been a lack of skill on the part of the nail technican

Good news about the Lincoln Park and I'm pleased the BioSculpture was rubbish (hope that doesn't sound mean!!), nice to know that I've hopefully made the right decision about the right company. Posted on your thread, hope you're doing okay :)
