After reading many reviews on here about hatton garden metals i decided to use them to sell my scrap gold rather than the usual "cash my gold" companies etc. All i can say is OMG!!!!!! i never expected to receive such fantastic service and very quick too!!
I did an online quote on weds evening and was very happy with the quote offered, so i posted my gold special delivery yesterday lunchtime. I checked online with the post office tracker this morning and found that my gold had already been delivered and by 11.50 this morning i had received an email from hatton garden metlals telling me that my gold had been verified and that they had already paid the money into my bank account, i checked my bank online and there it was!!!!! I weighed the gold myself before sending it to them and they were very honest and came back with pretty much the same weights that i got.
i must admit i was a little worried about sending my gold to an online buyer as i had visions of it either going missing in the post or getting completely ripped off by the buyer but i am extremely happy with the level of service i received. They have shown me that there are still decent companies out there that wont rip you off.
I will be recommending hatton garden metals to all of my friends and family, and anyone else that will listen lol!!!!!:j

I can't believe how much this company gave me for the scrap in my jewellery Box!! My friend sent some off the other week and recommended them to me.

Unlike a few other gold sites you weigh your own gold and use the calculator to work out it's worth so you know how much you will get before you send it off. I calculated mine as £411 and that is exactly what I had in my bank from them this morning! I only sent the items yesterday! I will be recommending them to all my friends and I'm off to have a hunt around the house for some more stuff!

Another first time poster here, but I have to say that the service I received from Hatton Garden Metals was fantastic.

Posted my gold yesterday, even the tiny bits that my wife was sure were worthless. Lo and behold, I received an e-mail this morning verifying what I had sent and about half an hour ago I received a bank transfer in my on-line bank account.

Wow, can't beat that.:D

ive used this company and it is exactly as described here - have actually sent 3 different lots and had the money i was expecting in my bank account the next day each time

Me too guys. I sent a load of old jewelry in... along with some pretty bad memories :-(
Next day the money was in my bank account and even better, it a bit more than I expected.

After considering the various options for where to send my unwanted gold, I chose Hatton Garden Metals after reading the reviews here. They are 1st class!

Weighed my jewellery and checked on their site how much I would get. Cost £5 to send by Royal mail special delivery (insured up to £500). Literally 24hrs later received email confirmation that payment had been made (more than anticipated as the gold fix had increased since I checked).

Don't go anywhere else, highly recommended!

Have to say I'm chuffed to bits with the service from HGM! I'm normally such a cynic, so wasn't expecting much. Sent gold yesterday by SD and have just received the email (with promised payment) this morning. Weighed 30g on my kitchen scales, but this did include some stones - HGM weighed at 29.8g! Gold price went up today too, so ended up receiving more than I was expecting.
I don't post much, but am always lurking..so glad I spotted this thread. That's a massive chunk of Xmas paid for x:j

Thoroughly genuine service,sent off my Krugerand tuesday,forgot to register the chain and mount but was paid an extra £100 on top.
Money in my account the very next day,if you,ve got gold to sell look no further, can heartily recommend this company.

Needed to sell some gold and looked on your site for the best company, came across Hatton Garden Metals. Post stuff off yesterday, just got a shed load of money straight into my account. Amazing! Very good company would use them again and recommend them to others!:j:j:j
