I've recently logged into my bank account & saw an amount of £20 debited, then credited to my account from AQUA PAY which i queried & found out that on the same day a company called VCI gaming or VCI gambling had taken money and another transaction for £30 to itunes had also come out.

I googled AQUA PAY and this is where i ended up..

Needless to say, i've cancelled my card & will be wiping any 'stored' credit details for sites i frequent as i can't see any transactions on my account that are likely to have been comprimised.

    Beware!
  • i had seven debits of twenty pounds taken from my account on fri 25th july without authorization, amazingly paid to aquapay, london. please be warned. taken up the matter with bank

  • Just found this thread when googling Aqua Pay....

I never check my bank statements - yes I know it's stupid - I just look at the balance and think that looks about right :o

Well, this weekend I had my bank account cleaned out, which has made me have a closer look at my statements, and found that on July 14th Aqua Pay took £200 from my debit card, then refunded it on 25th July. I've never used any on-line gambling or bingo sites. Is it worth trying to get in touch with them to find out what it was, or should I just be thankful that I got the money back?

Interestingly, the person who cleaned out my account has had all the items delivered to my address - why would they do that? And could they have been playing with my debit card for a while? No, I don't have any children.

Off to check all my bank statements now.....

your bank has to do something some one has obvisaly got ur deatails and you did not authorise the payment ask ur bank to put u in touch with the fraud team there the ones who will refund you... the should have done that in the first place good luck....
  • daft bat i would gat onto ur bank as some1 could have ur details if they go into ur account again u might not get it back next time.. as for getting things deliverd i have no idea but i would def change ur details...
  • I have had payments taken from my account by Aquapay too! Does anyone know how to get in touch with this company? This morning I had another £10 taken from my account. I play online bingo and its very often that Aquapay are the company who are authorised to take the money from my account. As a result of this I only play bingo where Aquapay are not the stated company! Can anyone help me with this situation because even though I am careful not to play bingo where Auqapay are there, they still take money from my account!! I need to get a hold of these people......NOW!!
  • Last week i signed up for the special £20 (no deposit required) bonus offer on the MirrorBingo.co.uk website and also deposited £5 of my own money using my Maestro card which went through without any problems.

However today (6th April 2009) i had a look at my online bank statement which showed 3 withdrawals from AQUA PAY BRIGEND totaling £25 so far. I never went back to the MirrorBingo Site after using the Bonus + deposited £5.

Whats going on? Is the bonus £20 you get to play with taken off you when you lose it even though its supposed to be a free introductory offer?

What should i do about this? I have already contacted MirrorBingo who unfortunately only operate between 9am and 8pm unlike most bingo sites like Gala and Ladbrokes which offer 24hour live support, so i had to email them.

It doesn't make sense that the money should be taken out today as the deposited was already taken out last week.
