Hi, Have Had £134 Taken Out Of My Bank Account By " Aqua Pay".have Never Heard Of Them & Do Not Use Bingo/gambling Websites.only Use Ebay/paypal.have Informed My Bank They Are Investigating And Say I Should Get My Money Back In 5-10 Days.anyone Had The Same & Should I Close My Bank Acct And Open New One?

Hello there, just been redirected to this thread from HUKD, as i was rather concerned. From what i can see this has nothing to do with the actual aquapay people, i've been using the bingo sites recently and have used aquapay with no trouble.

What this thread points to is a 3rd party using the name fraudulently as most of the people that have been scammed haven't used any aquapay system!

I realise the guy who posted on HUKD wasn't trying to scaremonger.... but to be honest this has scared the s**t out of me and so i was just trying to get my head around it. As someone whose debit card is only ever in one place and gathers dust between uses other than the internet, I can safely say noone but people I choose get my details.

If there is any fraudulent activity in my account i'll let you all know as these are the people i've used recently and i'm on issue 09 of the card i used, so the number is quite recently new.

Well just to be safe I have cancelled some of my bingo accounts....

Signed up to Mirror Bingo and put in £20 to draw out my £13 winnings. Had an email from Aquapay saying they had credited £33.12 to my card 23rd August. No sign of the cash, have queried it and had the following reply:
"It seems all withdrawals processed on 23 August 07 di not go through
due some technical error. Our technical team is working on this and
hope to have it resolved soon".

Feeling rather nervous about whether i'll ever see my money and if my bank details are safe.

Hi, is there any update on this?, was it a problem with Aqua pay (theiving staff!) or is it an ongoing problem?

I've noticed a lot of bingo sites use Aqua pay though.

Literally hundreds of companies use Aquapay as a middleman, mainly bingo and casino websites. It's highly unlikely the fraud is by them, but rather by someone who has acquired your credit card details and is laundering the money through gambling sites.

nobody acquired anything from me unfortunately from "friends" of mine, who are not very happy about this issue. but as i have "heard" they will solve their issue on their way. За ваше здоровье
