  • king jackpot deposits appear to go through as aquapay london as well people might be interested to be aware of.
  • I had a number of different amounts fraudulently debited from my account on Monday by Aqua Pay. Luckily my bank spotted them and contacted me and they have been reversed. I have accounts with six casinos none of whom use aquapay. I have no idea how my details were stolen.

My only problem is that I had a couple of dds bounced and now have to recover the charges!
  • I have just logged into my online bank account and seen a transaction to Aqua Pay London for 99 Euro = £74.83 plus a £1.50 service charge.

I do not frequent bingo sites (in fact I was banned from a bingo site for chatting on there) so have absolutely no idea how this has happened.

I have contacted my bank who have cancelled this card, now I have to wait 7 days for a new one, that's not very convenient as I will need cash to feed my family until then.

Glad to see it's happened to other folks though, btw my name and details was on that database lost by the government.

    Hi,
I have just received our abbey statement thismorning and ......£1250 Quasi-cash transactions aquapay london internet....£1000 all made on 1 day and a further £200 8 days later. We have never used online bingo sites or the like. Nightmare getting hold of Abbey today to finally stop the cards (which we dont use anyway!) I have to again phone back on Monday as the Fraud Card Team dont work weekends!!! Great!
I would have thought that Abbey would have had some sort of fraud system in place for these transactions going through, and then they would have been able to alert us of this activity on our account.

Hats of to Capital One here, as they are ALWAYS contacting us regarding some of our transactions. Nice to know at least they are looking after us.

    Cheers
    Lorraine
  • Yep the same had happened to me. The Mrs has used internet bingo sites with the bank details and £65 of unauthorised debits have occured.

Same here - 3x transactions in one day from Aquapay, £90 a pop plus £3 cash advance charge every time. Bit disappointed (and told them so) that Virgin C/C didn't pick it up.

Aquapay - although I didn't realise it - did my age verification deposit with Betfair when I signed up last month. I had to use a c/card to verify my age with Betfair as I was using my debit card to deposit funds. (I won't use my c/c to deposit any funds into my account on Betfair.)

I will be writing to Betfair to ask them to reconsider the company that they use for such age-verification matters.

One thing hat bugs me here is that most/all posters have very little posts.

Probably people that have googled for "Aqua pay" and found this place.

    It's possible!
  • This is the company used to take money for the online bingo site GONEBINGO . co.uk. (part of the BestBingoNetwork BBN UK) Don't be fooled by that site. You will probably NEVER be able to withdraw winnings as they give various reasons for not being allowed to withdraw. You can't get any official comeback if you do have a problem with them either as the company is based in Cyprus and is not governed by Trading Standards or the Gambling Commission and basically they can only help if the company is trading on UK soil. Don't be fooled by the co.uk or the Union Jack on their logo. It is not British. Please warn anyone you know who plays online bingo. Stick to well-known sites like Gala or Mecca, you'll get no problems from them. Online bingo player.:A

    ADVICE:

Never give your debit/credit/bank details to any site online unless you TRUST the website and they have a good reason for wanting/needing the details
