Being able to scan a DL/Pasport doesn't really prove anything at all though.
Sure it read like it has to be the original.. Just found at least part of the forms so will double check.
Just reading it though, it says if you have a level 2 or level 3 qualification you do not need to complete the form. What are you supposed to do to enrol then?0 -
Seems I have the 2011 enrolment pack lol. It states however, "The centre staff member verifying the identity document provided by the learner must sign the form to acknowledge that they have seen the original document and that it is on the list of approved identity documents."0

I'd put it back to them. They want your business/money, let them sort out what ID they want that you can send.0 -

I am surprised V2L still exist! I completed a course with them and 4 years later I am still waiting for my certificate, despite countless emails.
Some of the exercises received no feedback. I completed them all anyway because of the penalty if you don't finish by the course deadline. By the end I just didn't care any more.
They had the cheek to continue sending me marketing emails and only stopped when I rang (at least 3 times) and threatened that I was going to report them to Trading Standards.
The course may be free, but the students still need to be treated properly.0 -

I have spoken to everyone possible. I am beyond the point of caring now. I bet if I owed them money they would have no problem contacting me!0 -
And what did the awarding body say? Even if the training provider has lost them, for a small fee you can get copies.0

Can I suggest you check whether you signed something or not. When you started the course, surely you signed the enrolment form/learner agreement/application form?0
