THERES NO NEED TO MOAN ABOUT A FREE OFFER yeah the sites gonna be busy cause everybody wants a chance but just wait and be patient

even if you dont win the year you still get a month or so free and thats great too
Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you

Wonder when we find out if we have won...ooo the suspense
  • Dear MSE Users

Firstly an apology. Our servers went down, despite testing and having assurances from our hosting company that they would not, at 12:00 midday today. For this we are extremely sorry and are aware that many of you have been sitting in front of your computers for some 45 minutes now, attempting to enter your details. Whilst we are not trying to justify the problems, over 100,000 people attempted to hit the site simultaneously.

The servers are now back up and running, however we appreciate the frustration that this will have caused for you.

Whilst we cannot change what has already happened, what we are going to do it the following:

    1) Provide the first 2,000 entrants with free memberships to tastelondon for 12 months
    2) Run a 'lottery' for a further 2,000 free 12 month memberships
    3) Provide every other entrant with complimentary 3 month memberships to tastelondon, which will expire on 1st March 2010.

So please do continue to enter your details, everyone will win something.

We are sorry again for the inconvenience and hope this goes some way to rectifying them

    The taste team.
  • Got through at 12.45 :) Fingers crossed!!! :D

I don't think an apology or a lottery is enough.... you should give free annual cards to all those who registered (sarcasm !!!). I understand it's a lot but most of us spent at least an hour trying to register. I filled my details at 12:00:08 so that surely puts me within the first 2000...I hope...
Rent, Council Tax, Electricity, Gas, Telephone, TV License, Food, Clothing, VAT, Parking, Congestion Charge....... Thank you God you gave us MARTIN :money: :money: :money: !!!

    :rotfl:

    £70 an hour?

Technically a 3-month card is worth £17.50. Boo hoo!
