Thanks for letting me join :j

I have never joined a challenge before, now what do I do???

You can do it any way you want really? If you want to pay off debt or save up money. Add it all up (prbably best to keep a running total somewhere) and let us know how you are getting on. Everytime up make a payment or bank some savings add it to the total.

You could update your sig by doing the following:

Go to User CP underneath where it says Welcome, emmie.
On the left hand side of the new page will be a section titled Your Control Panel, in Settings and Options click on Edit Signature.

Enter whatever info you want and save it. You can edit it any time you like by following the same steps above.

Another Amazon sale bringing a £4 profit!

WON tickets on Amazon comp for exclusive OneRepublic gig, took friend last night, drank tap water and had an £8 meal before (which was gorgeous!) so a very good night for not much money!

Regarding the amazon/ebay question earlier - I am listing on amazon at the moment as it is free to list and they will stay up until they sell anyway. I'm not listing on ebay though until Feb as I think people will be waiting for payday! Not sure whether anybody selling on ebay can comment?

  • I tend to list stuff on eBay after pay day as well. Plus if others are anything like me they've been finding Jan a bit lean.

I'd completely forgotten about the Council Tax free months aswel! So happy I'll have the extra dosh. I want to get together enough money to finish paying off my TV. It's only £15 per month so nothing compared with my other expenses but it's got an insane APR (Didn't realise how high it was until I started this challenge) and every little helps. I always finding that clearing a debt (No matter how small) is a real boost mentally as well :)

I've been doing really well on my cutting down challenge too. I've given myself a budget of £100 for petrol, pet stuff, food and anything else I need. I'm half way through my pay month and I've only spent £25 :) I know I have to fill the car up next week but even then I'm well impressed conssidering I normally I can easily spend £300 during a month without even noticing!
  • Another £280 for me this week :j

This brings my total to over £1k already!!:D God, I can't believe that. Isn't it amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it???

Unfortunately have just realised card tax is due at the end of this month  so that is going to take £125 off of what I was going to pay. Isn't there always something?

Only £32.12 to hit my challenge of £15500 debt by the end of January. I will have to wait until next week before I can do it though as I have nothing left to play with!!

    Good luck everyone!
