just done my food shopping for the week and by meal planning to use up store cupboard and freezer food i managed to spend only £10.41 for some fresh fruit and veg. Massive saving on the 60 odd quid I would normally end up spending. Have decided to put this extra saved money towards my total and hopefully I can resist popping to the shops for little top ups of food!

  • Hi Chris,

I would like to join, I am a newbie.

My husband and I owe £10,343 :eek:on various credit cards, and a studentloan. Rates between 18% and 0%.

My husband will be made redundant in approx 12 months due to his office relocating 20 odd miles away. So we need to get in shape financially before this time next year.

Any help and hints greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, J

First chance to pop on boards since christmas so a belated happy new year to you all

Great to see all the payments made so far-well done all.

I have made a payment of £628 towards debts today. My bank kindly sent me a letter which I received christmas eve which said they were reviewing my od facility and cutting it in half on 15th Jan. Now I was planning on reducing my od but maybe not quite so quickly lol .

    Hi all,
I am feeling left behind with all the payments everyone has made! My regular stuff doesn't come out till the middle of the month :-( I have however over the last 2 days completely cleared out my loft with DH - what a job that was. On the up side got LOADS of stuff to sell on ebay, and any profits will go as additional payments to cc's or od. Fingers crossed!!!
