I work with somebody who put their tree(s) up two weeks ago. Four of them.

I have to be dragged kicking and screaming to put it up the weekend before Christmas!

    (Bah humbug).
Many years ago I put up decorations on Christmas Eve - collected old family friend who was coming to stay - took her home on Boxing Day - came home and took the decs. down.

My parents used to do that too. I quite like the idea of putting them up after the boys have gone to bed on Christmas Eve - make it part of the magic and all that.

DS1 and DS2 are currently sorting the spare change mountain my sister donated to them. She said they could have it if they could count it :p. They have been quiet for ages, although DS1 does tell DS2 off every so often for not concentrating hard enough :rotfl:.

Since getting back from work I have taken the rest of my sisters stuff upstairs, put the Mr S delivery away, put a beef casserole on for dinner and made a start on the DW. Time for a HHC I think.

Noooooooo, they charge 8%, if Hex's kids are true MSEers they will know it's better to bag it up and take to the bank, then they get to keep every penny! They could join my loose change challenge...

Boddy hope you are better soon

Nikki well done on your list!

Haven't flown since my last post as am trying very very hard to go out to my BIble meeting tonight, altho am not feeling too good. Just going to finish off cooking dinner now and then get ready. Have thrown some things away and tidied a little, so I guess that counts as flying

    Have a good evening all!

Only 6% at ours and it goes to charity..

Most banks will only take 5 bags at the most.. it'd be a complete nightmare having to take 5 bags every day... if I did my change jars like that I'd be back and forth forever!! By the time I managed to get the second lot there I'd have enough change for another 10

I suspect that given their ages, hex's boys will probably find that the small change is quite handy as spending money ... in the shop ... for sweets :p

Hex - your parcel is now in the post, so you'll have to get out in the garden at the weekend :D

It's getting cold, so I need to put the heating on, have a cup of tea and get this damned cake covered so its ready to be experimented on over the weekend. Then I can sit down and get going on the two articles that I really, really need to get ready for review next week, and start drafting some of the others I've got planned for later in the year.
