am not lurking i am flying....just came to put carp on freecycle
whilst im here
i have a ham shank (hock) and lentils carrots and onions
how do i change it into soup....and can i do it in the slow cooker
anyone please.....thanks luvvies
Yup, throw it all in the slow cooker with lots of water, maybe some carrots too and later in the day I usually add potatoes too. A ham stew for first day or too then water it down a bit, more lentils and soup too.
I usually cheat and put it all in the pressure cooker, because it is quicker and I often forget to put it on early. I have one in the freezer. I might do it Saturday as I have boiled the chicken carcase today for a chicken broth.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

(Don't know what DS has taken to school to wear for PE - don't care. he was asked and asked to put stuff in the wash before he went to bed on Friday. By the time HE got out of his pit on Saturday morning I had done ALL my washing! I point-blank REFUSE to go into his room and 'empty' his floordrobe.)
I do that with my kids, they soon learn!
Afternoon lovelies,
Blustery day here in Herefordshire. Not got much to do today flying wise, might make the kids some jelly for after tea, ive got an abundance of oranges, do you think if i peeled and segmented them they would be ok in jelly? Or would the jelly not set
Im hoping for a no spend day today but might just have to nip out for a cappacino and get 20 mins break from coughing sneezing and spluttering kids!
Hope everyone is doing OK

hi guys
Been busy today, littleys back at school, went to the Library to retrieve a book mark I'd left in a returned book, bought breakfast, went round to OH's and had it with him, went to Morrisons for some shopping for one of my customers, me & OH, took it to hers, went for Diesel, came home, went to council to pester them about my works again (waiting on a phone call) took OH's shopping round, had a brew and looked at his roof (as you do with a new roof) came home, tidied my pit of a kitchen (how does it happen overnight
) emptied the DW, reloaded it, cleaned all the benches, cleared the sink, filled 2 bin bags and put them in the outside bin, took some xmas stuff upstairs and closed my bedroom window, put some stuff in the TD, folded what I took out of it, prepped a corned beef hash and bunged it in the SC, emptied the mop bucket teenie left lying around, put youtube on, made a brew and I've just sat down.
Gonna do the bathroom list shortly.0
