It would be lovely to meet up with you and your DH rose.

    Helloooooooooooo!

Just a quickie to see what the room is today. I need to do something from yesterday's list too but I don't think i'll finish it.

Soappie - don't worry, I'm not going to drive with my eye like this. I'm so used to not having a car that I tend to walk to the shops and only remember I could have driven when i get home and see my dad's car sitting there!

On a positive note - all my children's lifts to after school activities are covered with people taking them for me. I'm always taking extras in my car so people seem happy to return the favour. It feels odd though - very odd. I don't think i'm very good and letting people do things for me.

Right, quick start on the list before work.

    Hugs to all xx

Oooh.. I've been to Dunelm and got curtain rings so we can hang thicker warmer better fitting curtains in the girls room. I got a few stocking filler bits for DD's 1 & 2.. and a huge sheepskin rrug in BRIGHT red for DD1 ready for decorating her room. we compromised and I said she can paint it BUT I will not remove the paper even though it is no longer her taste because I would then have to repaper as the walls are nasty.. so she agreed.. I did say she can have a new bed and she has new cupboards so it will look nice.. we are doing 3 walls white and one wall bright red.. it has white shelves and white door on that wall so it won't be too much I hope. She can have a new carpet and new bedding I hope the curtains will dye.. they are dark pink so they should take red dye ok.. being 100% cotton and all. Anyway.. I have loads of white paint so that's not a problem.. and as the room is tiny a new carpet won't be too bad. She can have the bedding after christmas in the sales and a bed will happen if and when I can afford it, I saw a nice red one somewhere.

Updated my DFW diary on here.. my total has gone up.. which is why I've not changed my siggy strip in ages.. but I have done loads in the house with the money I would otherwise have spent on paying stuff off so I am pleased about that.

OH is making a cuppa and then we are on with the 2 lots of curtains (girls room; needs rings and thick velvet curtains and middle room; pole needs rehanging ggrrrr @ DD3)

I am also sorting presents into individual boxes today so I can make a start on wrapping.

My tum feels a bit better today BUT I have a meeting at school tonight.. DS2 starting GCSE's.. but I don't think I should go with the thought of germs running amok.. it is most likely the bug which OH and 3 of the children had last 2 weeks. I may ask the perfect parent if he wants to go.. I am also meant to be going for a meal with KIDS, but daren't pass bugs on there.. they have children with some severe disabilities and the last thing they need is illness... so I am cancelling both. I also rang in my apologies for the next governors meeting as it is the same time as the 2 littlies physio.

so far today I have also..

    WM x3
    TD x2
    DW x1
    Laundry folded
    table cleared and wiped
    bunnies cleaned out
    Fish fed
eaten half a tube of pringles.

Well I hope the head feels suitably contrite - she could have put the whole school at risk through her unsympathetic behaviour!

As for the plans, do you feel well enough to do some planning at home, and maybe work with your colleague over the phone/email/IM? At least that way you won't have any added stress. You've been told to keep your germs to yourself, not to do nothing at all, and it would also be good evidence of how committed and dedicated you are. Sadly I think most of us end up working when we're ill (as numerous people on this thread demonstrate regularly) as we simply can't cope with the thought of what the consequences will be when we get better! It seems that it's easier to be off for several months, when your work will be dealt with, than a week or two, when it just gets left for when you get back.

Desk tidied, and some filing done. Brother emailed about Goodwood revival for next year (for my dad's birthday).

Need to get some work done, and then try to find the time to walk up to the post office (parcel of paeonies to send to hex) and shop (need yogurt for breakfast and milk for cauliflower cheese)

    Juliejim: -good luck !!!:T
Lucifa: -i hate jsa meetings, was so happy when OH got a job so i didn't have to the JC every two weeks.
Valli:- i say the same thing to mine (inc OH) at least three times a week
Rose:- how are you feeling today?
Sexymouse:- hope your feeling better today x The head should be ashamed off herself for her behaviour.
    LaLa :- Hugs x

Just defrosting the dinner now, leave the kids rooms till later and finish this application form off that i've just been emailed back.

Nice one (IYSWIM) an nice infectious bug that your head needs to take notice of! No way can you be 'swinging the lead' then!
Hope you are logging this foul up with your PPA time and I hope (but I doubt) that you are getting both your PPA time AND your NQT time:rolleyes: and if not keeping a log of that, too, not least because if you resign early you have your reasons for doing so to show prospective employers...make sure the union are FULLY aware of what is going on.

(Don't know what DS has taken to school to wear for PE - don't care. he was asked and asked to put stuff in the wash before he went to bed on Friday. By the time HE got out of his pit on Saturday morning I had done ALL my washing! I point-blank REFUSE to go into his room and 'empty' his floordrobe.)

Sorry slightly off topic Pigpen just wanted to catch sexy!)
