Well have just managed to do next week's maths plans in a record hour on my own - have emailed to colleague to do the finishing touches. She's doing the literacy plans.

Have also decluttered the desk in the study with OH as we were looking for my clock (travel sized and got buried under paper).

Had a mad evening - OH went round to the flat to collect mail, and one of the letters was the reminder for my tax disc - October 31st!!! I hadn't even noticed, and didn't realise that my registration details weren't automatically connected to my driving license details (changed this when I moved) as this was the first time I'd moved house since I've been driving. So, I called automated service and paid for tax disc, then had to call DVLA to ask about change of address. They didn't seem too worried about it and just said to send the form in with the change of address to them. They said my new registration docs would take 2-4 weeks to arrive. Tax disc will unfortunately go to my old address but have left a message with tenants to call when it arrives. OH will have to drive me to work next week.

Discovered that cat has broken the cat flap, so had to order another new one online.

Also realised my NQT folder is in school and I need to update it over the weekend, so colleague is going to drop it in on her way home.

So much for being off sick! lol Still, I did manage to have an hour's sleep with little black furry this afternoon whilst trying to watch neighbours, which was nice. OH is home tomorrow for part of the day, so that'll be nice too.

Hope to catch up a bit more on mount washmore tomorrow, as well as getting the worksheets etc ready for my maths group, so that it's not a mad rush during the week.

Hugs to all who need or want them.

That sounds best to me too.. but a lot of shops are refusing to take large amounts of change (more than 20p) because they supposedly have to stick with the '5 bags in the bank' thing as well!

I'll be sending out card lists on the 30th if anyone else is interested?

    Evening

I am surprised that the banks are only taking 5 bags a day  we take whatever people bring in, all we ask is it is correctly bagged. Seems especially harsh on business customers to restrict them.

Can I be included on the card list please :D think you still have our details from last year.

Going to reboot this and see if I can get a connection better than the 32kps that I am currently online with

  • Evening all - just to say, I know I haven't posted this week yet, but I am in. I've been incredibly busy over the last few days, but I have a day off work tomorrow and intend to catch up over the next couple of days.

I've got a good reason for being super-fly lady this week. My parents are coming to visit next week, and it's quite a special visit. My Dad has had various health problems over the last decade and had only made it up the stairs to my flat once - the day we moved in. But he recently had a life-changing operation, and is fit enough to make it up the stairs. I'm really pleased as he hasn't been able to visit or see the cats since they were babies. I really want my flat to be looking at his best when he comes - I'm really looking forward to it!

I'll post a list soon when I've worked out what I'm going to be doing over the next couple of days.

I hope you've all had good weeks - hugs to all!
