Kazm How can you be so cheerful after last night? ;)

Felt fine until I went to make the sarnies for DD and said to OH it isnt until you slow down you realise how many things with your health you overlook as I was feeling a bit breathless. He took my BP  it was 75/54 no wonder I felt weird. Promptly went to lay down on the sofa. Had improved to 103/57 an hour later so have just been for a long soak in the bath and done nothing else.

Jassa - well done to your bro

MOAM - hugs for your poor DS, hope you get chance to get some rest later

Karensmith - welcome and dont worry about trying to keep up with the thread, its impossible sometimes

Hugs carlsberggal - I cant add anything to the wonderfully informative and supportive post that wilf55 did :T

Right going to get dressed and dry my hair then I thinnk I might have a gentle stroll round the house rounding up washing. Toots I am NOT going to do anything strenuous :rotfl:

Extreme lethargy over the last couple of weeks due to a cough that just grinds me down rather than anything else, has meant I have only done the minimum for a while.

HOWEVER, there are rooms in my house that remain incredibly tidy - my bedroom, the dining room and the conservatory are all in shock over the length of time that they have remained clear and lovely.....so significant longer term progress IS being made!

I have four weeks before I am away on holiday (I am away for the last week of term, but OH and the children are at home hahaha) so the challenge is to get the rest of the house spotless and all the Christmas stuff taken care of before I go so that there is a small chance of me returning to a nice place to be rather than a tip!

So, I'm in for this week - I've not kept up with everyone's chat over the last couple of weeks, so I hope you are all ok x

  • Coffee decluttered. Off now to shift my behind & cross something off todays list. Will be back at 1ish.

OOh and it's brightening up so may get washing on line after all
  • Acchhhh!

Did I say I would be finished my Living Room by 11:30????
What mad impulse came over me????:confused::confused::confused:

Only half-way through, but I have also cleaned the downstairs loo and downloaded the new AVG version onto my computer. WM has just played a merry tune to tell me the quilt is finished, so I'm going to hang it up and have a cuppa.

Will restart the Living Room at 12:00 I think, and will only commit myself to finishing by 1:00 this time.... :rotfl:

    Chequebook located and cheque written.

Freezer emptied. All bar one loaf of bread and a large cake fits in the indoor freezer... so need to have sandwiches rather than pasta for the next few days, and use the cake for practice and take it to work/governors meeting on Wed... it should be defrosted by tonight, so I can cover it then - which means I need to deep clean the kitchen and I'll finally get round to moving the decorating stuff from the cupboard they're in, which I think will be too warm now the heating is on.

Just doing some filing while waiting for the landscaper to turn up...

Carlsberg, aww hun, what an amazing Mum you are, to not over react but to try and support your Daughter who is probably terrified at the mo.

Whatever her decision I'm really pleased that Uni are being so supportive, they are used to situations like this occurring and are usually quite able to facilitate your daughters needs.

My youngest daughter arrived in my second year of Uni and despite juggling her, my eldest, school and nursery, I managed it.....I won't say it was easy but it is doable. I, however didn't have any support networks but your daughter has you and her family so she is already streets ahead whatever her decision.

Good luck with whatever happens. xxx
