Thought I'd just correct dear ol' Winnie there.
Seems he didn't have the best grasp of punctuation, either... according to some, that is...
Yeah thanks for correcting Churchill. He really needs it.
Seems you don't have a very good grasp of punctuation either. I love it when people in glass houses throw stones.
Here is what he really said:
“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”
Just in case you have any need for it - but in your lefty corrupt world, I doubt you will.0 -
come on lefties....
i gave you the proof. tell me why a fire service "needs" an equality and diversity manager on over 40k?????????
What a joke0 -

They are on quite enough as it is already.
If they have set up there own practise and work every scheme available that can rise to 250-300k a year0 -

even more horse manure.
all the non jobs, create even more non jobs in an ever increasing spiral of non jobs and waste.
as i say - you could lose AT LEAST 50% of the public sector and the general public wouldn't even know. and no lefties, i don't mean nurses and teachers (yawn). I mean street scene co-ordinators and five a day supervisors.0 -
doctors are entitled to a decent wage, because they actually do a job for which training is required. its the pen pushing management level bs speaking classes that need savagely cutting back.0

imo this rise in unemployment would result in an equiv decline in consumer demand for products and also for housing. Retailers and people selling their house might notice the effects imoPrefer girls to money0 -
there would be short term pain, but long term gain.
lefties don't think long term.0 -
Well that is it, I never thought I would do it, Mr Ed is the first id I have ever put on ignore, he does spout some garbage:eek:'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

Don't bother. Rational argument has no effect on the 'committed' (which he ought to be).
Ignoring education and health would mean instantly that you could not remotely begin to achieve the kind of savings that this worthy keeps banging on about... and I mean instantly.
On another matter let's test this SunMailite by saying that we'll take him up on his idea provided its his services which are affected first. I'm sure he'll be up for that in the interests of showing leadership.
You know - no road repairs, no refuse collections, schools hospitals and prisons closing... in his area.
Support and administrative staff are vital. Just visit your local GP practice and see if they can manage without those secretarial 'scum'. Or, take your average underpaid and overworked social worker, struggling with twice the caseload they should. Ask him if he would not mind also filling in for that totally unnecessary 'scum' switchboard operator who takes the emergency calls from distressed children.
Oh yes, there are 'scum' around, all right. Dear ol' Pale Nag should visit his closest mirror for a prime view thereof...0
