Thigh high/above knee boots?

Has anyone got a pair? Do they stay up? I 'm not normally into this sort of footwear, but I've recently been living in leggings with my knee boots, and all the celebs look great in theirs, so is 35 to old to wear thigh boots? Primark have some black suede ones that I love, but I dont want to look stupid!

My boots arrived today they are gorgeous I love them! They are more over knee boots, than thigh boots, and they really suit me, I'm really pleased.
I bought some sparkly fishnets from Primark to wear with them for christmas!
