Eco-Fairies R'us. Instead of weighing up the pros and cons of pee, my advice is to buy some fertilizer and use the toilet for what it's designed for.

Thanks for that money-saving tip. Got any more 'economic' advice?

  • My little boys love weeing on the compost heap and veg patch - they can get funny looks from the neighbours if they catch them from their kitchen window, but now reading these posts I'll let them pee on it with pride!

Can you compost tree stumps? (Only smallish - arm or thigh sized - but a mess of tangled crap)

Should i hire a wood chipper? There is an awful lot of it! Would a wood chipper be able to mangle through it all?
Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

For a home gardener I doubt this is practical or cost effective, personally I would put them in the car & go to council dump, even they [my local one] have size limit on composting

I agree with Farway, the size of chipper you'd need would make this expensive. Anything as thick as an arm goes in my woodburner, while the small bits are burned in the garden, but I have no one to annoy! If you are in town the council dump is probably best (assuming you don't want a wildlife log pile.)
