The item was most likely sent by USPS . You can track their numbers here.

If this doesn't help let me know. As it is possible to track mail through Royal Mail\Parcel Force as well.0 -

It doesn't really matter now at this stage as OP havn't got their goods and seller by refusing a full refund are making themselves look a bit dodgy or naive
OP, escalate the claim now, it takes ages to sort through anyway so the sooner you do it the quicker you get a refund. You will get a full refund including the original postage paid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I never buy from the US unless its tracked. They seem to think we're daft on this side of the pond. So much so that I only complete 50% of transactions with non business sellers due to an attempt to charge excessive postage costs.0 -
i have to say as this is the first time i've ever filed a dispute, people seem to go bonkers! she's actually typed 'i am crying because of you'!!
good grief, i always refund and claim from rm if someone states non delivery asap, its just bad luck:rolleyes:0 -

Surely though it is dafter to insist on paying extra to protect a seller? Tracking only beenfits the seller not the buyer so wht insist on paying for it?
OP will get a full refund in this instance as seller cannot prove delivery.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i buy quite often from the usa, low cost crafty type items, and this is the second time in years something hasn't arrived, seller refunded fine last time.
i'm just bemused at the drama of it all, shes getting herself all in a tizzy for nowt0 -
I buy quite a bit from the US as well and rarely have problems, you do still come across sellers though who don't think it is their problem things get lost and expect buyers to just write it off . It happens though but that is what paypal is for, so I don't tend to get too worried. I would escalate the claim though so it is underway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As I buy what I sell in the UK. I know the packaged weight. So can check on USPS. Do the same from any international Ebay site.. Oz, France, Germany, Spain etc. I factor in all costs import duty and vat etc as well.
Any good American seller will not dispatch without POD. As why risk a chargeback?
My record attempted overcharge was £215 for items that should have cost £65. I also received 15 negative feedbacks which contained abusive terminolgy. The items didnt realise a high price at auction so the seller attempted to ramp up the postage to compensate.
I'm happy to pay slightly over the actual postage cost for packing etc.0 -
